In no way is dying from the death curse worse than being choked to death and neck snapped. If you believe it was kinder, you need help. Death curse is painless choking feelings of helplessness, fear, burning in the lungs. No it was kinder in the books.

LOL this entire fic is a huge OOC trainwreck. Still, I love it for some odd reason.

I made it to chapter 24.

The first 10 or so chapters have a lot of potential. Then it kind of fell apart.

I don’t mind a vengeful or evil Harry. Based on the first many chapters it was warranted and could have been a great story. It began to fall apart with the Granger subplot and goes on for there. It gets surreal.

Why this Harry is still attending Hogwarts or remains even in Britian, I have no idea, based on the character progress in this story. He knows there are other schools. It isn’t his job to kill Voldemort, there’s an entire national Auror Corps who have that task. They won’t even fix his eye and have stolen 10s of millions from him. People bleating about forgiveness is hardly conducive to forgiveness, as is expecting it without making amends.

There are some brilliant bits. Narcisca Malfoy is one. The author writes well from a grammar, etc... standpoint. But in my opinion it isn’t enough.

Oh, dear. This story is quite the disaster. Your main characters can do no wrong (Harry and Ron, especially), constant conflict between everyone and everything, plot holes, the whole 9 yards. Frankly, I expected better going into the story. It’s not the worst thing on this site. It could be actually pretty good with editing - or changing the entire plot, actually. Yikes.

I like this story, but let's be honest. Harry could kick the shit out of almost any Auror, regardless of his single year stay at Azkaban. To get his ass kick by such a low level, useless auror is not possible.

I get why a HP fanfic writer would want to explore a HP/SB relationship storyline, but I don't understand your fascination with Eleanor Columbus. Because of Google, I know she's Chris Columbus' daughter and played Susan without any lines in the first 2 movies and followed in her dad's footsteps working as a director and producer as an adult. I'm missing what it is about Eleanor that motivated your writing. That has got to be the most mysterious Muse that I've ever heard of. Maybe the explanation was there in the a/n's. If it was, I admit to missing it.

Now to the review of the story:
I liked how this story ended and I think it was well written, but I haven't decided yet if I liked the story as a whole. If didn't like it at all, I would have abandoned it. Although, it was a near thing until Lily from the Future sucked me back in.
I didn't read them back to back, so it is difficult to compare, but my memory says that I enjoyed Not the Only Redhead much more and that I was more impressed with Wastelands of Time. My gut reaction says that this sits in 3rd place of the 3 stories of yours that I've read.
The fact that there so many things that I both liked and disliked about it points to the fact that it was worth reading. This also makes judging the overall likability difficult. I guess the test of time will reveal what I still remember about it and determine my overall impression. I'm sure there were things I didn't like about NLOR, but I don't remember any, so there you go.

The fact that Harry and Hermione were actually on the same page SHOULD have been enough to stop Remus’ whining.

Harry really needs to understand the concept of intent. Michelle may be an emotional self righteous bitch, but Harry's an immature self righteous prick. There are consequences for actions, even unintentional actions, so there are consequences for Michelle attacking Harry even though she didn't intend for Harry to lose his eye. That being said, Harry equating her with TR is just stupid. TR enjoys the pain and suffering of others. MG won't apologize for hurting Harry, because he also accidentally hurt her. The moral equivalencies by the characters in this story are really screwed up.
HP isn't evil for what he did in blind self defense, but MG isn't the same as TR, because she won't apologize for accidentally ruining his eye.

It's hard to wrap my brain around Ron being the most likable character of the trio in this fic, but he is.

Your habit of using actors' names is really most annoying. You might believe it's clever, but it's not... It's jarring and juvenile.

the names of ancestors... at the beginning, I thought it meant a marriage contact... I'm so glad it didn't...
