Oh how good this was!
Dino-Rogue chapter 1 . 8/31/2015
Hahaha! Those pillows thrown were justly deserved... by the Just! Haha!

Ah, nothing like a good, lighthearted but heart-warming Golde Age fic! Awesome job, excellent piece! I really enjoyed reading it!
Saoirse7 chapter 1 . 1/15/2013
Very nice story! I agree with the others; it would have been nice to see the reactions of the other help in Acere's household, and of Acere himself at his trial. But it was interesting as it was, and it seems very much like something Edmund would do, sacrificing himself for the sake of getting the right information.
Misty Blue chapter 1 . 10/11/2012
Oh, they were justly. Very justly indeed! Haha!

Awesome, awesome piece! Boy, surely, being is definitely something that should be taken very ceriously! I mean, look at how it is; all the many pains that must be endured for the people and the land you rule and practically putting your own life and safety on the line . . . phew, not an easy job indeed.

Again, excellent fic! Totally enjoyed reading. :)
Shadowcatisajerk chapter 1 . 4/24/2012
Great story, loved Edmund's covert operation. I just wish we could have gotten to see the lord's reaction when Ed and Peter rode up the next day.

I love the story! BTW, the comment that I put on my review of your other story was about someone else's profile. Oops! Oh well...

King Caspian the Seafarer chapter 1 . 1/8/2011
...for me? You honor me, my friend. And I beg pardon for falling over laughing when I read the dedication. :) Rambling thoughts and whimsies indeed.

Very, very clever. I noticed the hue of Elecktrum at the edges, but twas overall extremely original and enjoyable. Poor, poor Ed. What a way to spend Christmas, no? I loved the bat, and the whistle, and Lucy sneaking out for hot chocolate and a raid on the kitchen. Honestly, I love so much of this there's no possible way I can mention everything I liked. But the dialogue was sweetly Narnian and the characters were real and vibrant. Edmund attacking Bobby and then saying "Sorry, thought you were my brother," to Bobby's confusion made me laugh...sounds like Peter and Edmund alright.

Lord Acere was nasty. I flinched for Ed when he said "Named for that idiot kid king up at Paravel, are you?" Lovely phrase, that. :) The woman at dinner, who gave Edmund full understanding of the phrase "she raked him with her gaze", was very well described. And I liked poor Alice and Bobby and Cook as well. (Just duck!)

Excellent, excellent job. What a wonderful after-Christmas present. For this one, my indebtedness outnumbers the very pieces of sand on the shore, and shineth brighter than the morning star at dawn.

Lion be with you, mon amie.

Absolutely the pillows thrown at him were Justly deserved (I assume your pun was intended).

Nicely written.
the shadow proves the sunshine chapter 1 . 1/3/2011
This was such a great story idea, and you wrote it wonderfully. For some reason, I feel like Edmund gets locked in prisons/dungeons/other small places more often than his brother does in fanfiction-myself included. I would have liked to read about the trial very much, but then again I understand and respect stories that have happy endings implied, but not everything wrapped up in a neat package by the end.

The whistle Edmund used to call the bats was a great touch and makes so much sense. I liked it a lot.

God bless,
