I realize this is an old fic, but I decided to reread it for the 20th time after a long time and it's still one of the best and my favorite. The story is sweet, the characters are true to their personalities, and it's just generally well written. I know it's eight years old now, but I still love it. Happy new year and I hope wherever you are now author, your life is grand.

This was a great read! Your writing from Gui's perspective has made me want to read more stories with his POV. Prince is one of my favorite characters but she wears her emotions on her sleeve, it's easy to tell what she's thinking. Gui on the other hand is a different story.

I like this. It's clean, simple, and doesn't go crazy with how Lan would overreact. Thanks for such long chapters too! I've noticed the characters (prince) are a little OOC, but oh we'll, right? It was necessary.

The whole thing was so adorable! I almost cried when I read the first couple of paragraphs! I thought the actual Gui had died! The fact that it was actually a fish was so cute! Oh how I love Lan and Gui!

Your writing was very good throughout the whole story, your smaller plots that were filled with awkwardness were so amazingly adorable, and you had just enough fluff to the writing! That's a big thing I look for in writing and a big thing I comment on! Great story overall!
