Love this line! It captures exactly what the characters on the show would feel! Great story! I loved the part about them not regretting it even though they both probably felt like they should.

*laughs* Oh, that ending line . . . perfect! You're such a wonderful Blair/Dan writter. You capture them so well, or how we seem now in the show. It's simply a pleasure to read. (And now I've been pondering if in your other story "The Couple Who Weren't", they aren't off to some fun already too. _~)

No, but in all seriousness, how indescribably lovely it is to read this, to finally show that Blair and Dan can have all the chemistry of Blair and Chuck but none of the sinister reprecussions.

i enjoyed this. this is such a fun fic. but after reading through a number (ok fine ALL, since there are so few DAir fics right now), i've come to the conclusion that i wouldn't want them hooking up over the holidays. to do DAir right, this requires like half a season of pushing and pulling and heehawing and denial while the friendship grows and grows in intimacy. i honestly believe that DAir is a major contender for endgame OTP. for someone like Blair, to really let Dan in, it requires time and the holidays are not enough time. I truly also believe that Blair is the only one that can truly shake Dan's judgmental, arrogant core. So yeah, I actually preferred your other fic because it took things slower. But this, this was fun. Shame though that you don't show that Dan/Nate bromance (because there's always room for bromance).
