He will never meet Fai's children...:( that made me sad. Even though we readers still havent seen Fai get married or with kids XD but in a way he does meet Fai's 'kids'. In bad circumstances he meets Sakura and Syaoran(r) :) In a sense Sakura and Syaoran (both c and r) are Fai's kids. He is a father/mother (Fai-mommy XD) figure to them and a good friend and he loves them as of they were his own. I dont think fai will ever have kids while he has sakura and syaoran around. I just felt like voicing this out :)

I've read all the chapters in this story. They're too great and it made me too anticipated to read every next chapter. I love many characters in here especially Fai(Yui) and Ashura's family. Of course I so much the angst part in thiis story and how Ashura became mad with love that he burst out into his power after being drugged by the Arimapi people.

I love this story. I've read it all at one go. It has great balance, it's both very interesting (I just want to keep reading all the time) and full of emotions (like Ashura's internal struggle). It has everything perfect: the plot, created world and creation of characters, backgrounds, etc. And last, but not least, I admire your magnificent writing skills and vocabulary, you are better than the most of professional writers. For me, not being a native english speaker, it was also a little challenge and dictionary was frequently in use.
I want to thank you very much for giving me the opportunity for such gorgeous and long reading.

After a day and a half of doing nothing but reading, I finally finished. The story was exquisite but I must confess that I believe the title of such a story does not do it justice. I do not ask that you change it, merely offering my input, whether it be neded or not. I've grown to like this story quite a lot and hopefully I'll be able to see its full completion.

I finally found the time to catch up on these chapters and finish them, and I just...I'm left speechless. This was such a beautiful story, and I loved every moment of it. Fantastic work :)

Oh gosh, that was completely heartbreaking! But in a good way! This is so good and so IC and so... It makes so much sense that I've started vaguely picking out events in this story and thinking it canon. You are a brilliant writer, and I'm just too mindblown to write a proper review right now. Let me go jog around the house like a madwoman for a bit then I'll come back and try to arrange my thoughts into a semi-coherent sentence.

Hmmm. Hahhhh. Okay. I just LOVE the way Ashura has developed as a character throughout CP. First things first, OH YEAH THIS IS THE KINDA ASHURA I LIKE TO SEE. What's with all the stalker!Ashura and evil ex!Ashura and abusive!Ashura and... goodness knows what else. Anyway, back to the development. I strongly believe that there is no one who is truly evil, and that people do 'evil' things because they believed that the end justified the means. And Ashura is just the definition of the end justified the means. But whatever end that may come, it's always convincing yourself to do those despicable things that tugs the most on your conscience, and I suppose a lot of people would just chicken out right there and say screw the end, someone else can sacrifice their morality for 'the greater good'. The way you wrote Ashura's internal conflicts and realizations throughout CP really highlighted his gradual acceptance of the monstrosities he will have to commit in order to (indirectly) save like the goddamned universe. In an unbelievably believable way. I mean, I don't think it's realistic for someone to one day go. POW! Man, I need the kill my entire country that I love and am responsible for including all my relatives and whonot to save the universe... I'M GAME! ANYTHING TO SAVE THE UNIVERSE. The way you portrayed his desperate searching for a better solution and his gnashing of teeth and raging at the heavens is very realistic. He searches for another solution, and another, and another, and in the end after searching and searching he realizes that they is no better solution. Only then, he just completely gives up and he's like, fine, to save the universe.

If there were such a competition, I would vote this as the #1 Most Effective Political Campaign for Ashura-ou! Because, seriously. This story is like ASHURAAAA! *shakes fists at the sky* WHY? People who write abusive ex-boyfriend!Ashura need to READ THIS. Right now, I'm so fricking pro-Ashura because of CP that I'd vote him for president. Except that he'd go mad and kill us all.

Pulling myself back to semi-coherency, I like the whole Fai development going on in the background. While Fai's development definitely doesn't have the sort of depth that Ashura's has, his development coming out of the tower is something I believe to be quite fundamental to the actual canon storyline. Also, Fai's development sort of acts as an impetus for Ashura's character development, except as a parent and not as a monarch on the edge of going mad because he's trying not to go mad and slaughter the whole world. I haven't read Embracing Destiny, but from what I can get from CP, Ashura had kids that died with his wife and he never got to properly meet. I thought that while Fai was healing a lot from being with Ashura and finding the love and care of a parent that he obviously lacked in Valeria (ahem, dad dies from strange illness and mom commits suicide out of guilt for birthing you), Ashura was also healing from being with Fai, in turn. After losing his wife and his two kids (twins, right?), having Fai as a surrogate child would probably help him a lot, and I like how he gradually accepts his role as Fai's parent and just begins to throw himself into parenthood. I like how Ashura still gets to discover and explore parenthood and I especially like the sense of mutual healing here. It makes Ashura seem that much more human instead of being That Omnipotent Guy Who Pulled Fai Out Of Hell. From the small snippets of him in the actual manga, Ashura REALLY just seems like some tool of fate dumped in by CLAMP—I mean the gods. Dumped in by the gods to help Fai out and make sure he can go on to save the universe. But the mutual healing makes him seem like yeah, he's a tool of fate but he's still human. It also endears me more to him because I can tell that he wasn't just taking Fai in to save the universe, he genuinely cares about Fai and their relationship isn't one-sided.

Anyway, as other people have probably said, I do hope you have a third part coming up, but even if you don't I think it's fine. Honestly, CP has ended in a way that really ties in with the start of the manga, so to me it's been concluded in a suitably conclusive way. Though more AshuraFai-beautiful-writing-heartmelting-parental-feelings goodness would be nice in any case :DD.

I really, really liked this. I think the epilogue was really well-done, as it shows Ashura's worries and plans for the future as well as his decision to enjoy the present. This was a really good story.

Just out of curiosity, are you planning to make a third part in this story?

Well, that was certainly one of the best Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle fanfiction that I have read on this site.

Although I usually don't review stories, it would be an insult not to review such an amazing story.

The sheer amount of detail and thought put

into this story is incredible. You've thought out every detail and manage to capture each character and Seresu in all its aspects perfectly. Your characterization is amazing amd you have everything tie together perfectly.

It's probably too much to hope that you'd write until Fai's departure from Seresu (even through sequels) because this series is practically canon.

And on the last chapter I just have to say: OMG! Ashura's awake! Now we can go onto a new arc )

I look forward to the rest of this story, and hope you haven't forgotten about it and will update soon.

After re-reading the chapters, why do I get the impression that there is a enemy spy in the seresian court?-specifically a wizard.

I love this story so much that I often read them out loud. I know you said you were nearly done with this, and that the synopsis states you would only be exploring Fai's childhood...but I don't suppose you could indulge us fans by continuing through his adolescence and teenage years as well?

Out of the nightmare and facing the demons that will crawl its way into reality...with King Ashura's reaction waking up, it seems he as accepted fate.

As much as I was hoping for the King to wake up for the last few months, now I am not so sure if that is any kinder for him.

For the time being, I hope he can enjoy the unmarred time with Fai.

Life will never be the same again after what he's seen. Well I guess some things just aren't meant to be seen by the human eye. Can't wait for the next chapter!
