| Niphuria chapter 4 . 12/17/2010 The best part of this Epilogue is that Alice and Tarrant can be happy, AWAY from Marmoreal and the pressures that Alice would face there. She and Tarrant can be happy together and be real for each other. Chess misses his "friends" but may have the opportunity to see them both again someday. I hope he finds his parents tho, selfish cats as they are to keep him waiting! :) This was such a wonderful supernatural story of love, the Empire of Love that Chess mentioned at the beginning, and it conquered his attempt, at least for the time being, for friendship. I still see the lovely image Mirana saw (well, I think it is lovely) of Alice leaning against someone and being happy. Thank you for this thought-provoking and lovely piece. |
