First...this is a good story...well it was a bit too long and i got a bit bored in the middle but it's good...after all i finished reading it...i liked how claire behaved...she kind of displayed post traumatic symptoms...the paranoia and all..but what i liked about this one is that it's a nice story about siblings and friends...i like the relationship between Claire and Chris a lot...oh and i love claire redfield too..she's my favorite character..and so is leon...

second...you do need someone to edit your work...i don't have perfect grammar and spelling myself but that's what friends and beta readers are for...it lessens the grammar, spelling and typo errors...d(,)

third...maybe you should've put it under chris and jill or chris and claire since it's more of a story of the redfield sibling's relationship...i didn't really get the claire and leon vibe until the end...even then their relationship was still hazy to me...

and lastly this is for FormVI...because i just couldn't resist...XD

1.) my dear this is a fan fiction so you could run any timeline you want...even cross timelines over one another in order to make it work for your story...as long as it makes sense..or you can even make your own alternate timeline..based or not based on those existing timelines in the original story of the game/book/manga...

2.) it doesn't matter if steve was brought up in resident evil degeneration or not..if the author wanted steve to matter to claire then it could happen...

3.) exactly...what kind of relationship do they really have and why did claire call it complicated...?

4.) this is a fan fiction..reviews and constructive criticisms are ok but you have to understand this..fan fictions could defy an original story's timeline, character emotions could change and everything is according to the author...as long as the story makes sense and still has noticeable traces of the original story which i found in this..the gun stash...claire's paranoia, Leon's cool stoic persona...all these are traces of resident evil...so even if the timeline is different..even if claire cared for steve this is okay..because it's a FAN FICTION...you shouldn't be too rigid when it comes to fan fictions...

Have you ever tried writing a story before? As i've seen in your profile you don't have one story posted...try making one...it's a good exercise for your brain...but remember don't be too rigid...fan fictions are meant to entertain yourself and fellow fans..

That's it! keep up the good work...maybe you could do a follow up story to this one...like a sequel or something...this time going deeper into leon and claire's "complicated" relationship...(p)

This was cute! I really liked Claire and Chris' banter and the steady partnership feel between Leon and Claire. I think it's way more effective than googly-eyed fluff.

Though I'm not sure they should be concerned by her plethora of weapons. After dealing with zombies, and everything else that's tried (or is still trying) to kill them I'd be surprised if they didn't all have guns, spare ammo, and backpacks in arms reach at all times. I definitely would.

All in all, though, thank you for a good read! I enjoyed it a lot!

Do you knoe why steve was never brough up in Resident Evil Degeneration? Because there was nothing about him for Claire to get over with. Not with someone she only knew for a few minutes
