Wonder how it would have unfolded differently if canon had followed your scenario. As a couple with Red John's malignant presence always in mind, I imagine Jane would have scarcely been able to leave her side. Working together, maybe RJ would have been so infuriated he'd have come out of the shadows, or made a mistake. Clearly Jane wouldn't have the clue provided by Lorelei's mistake. And if Blake were still part of the picture, would that have been exposed? Interesting. You make their relationship very real, very believable. Thanks.

Wow. This was a really great fic. I found this through a post on Tumblr where someone recommended this fic and I'm so glad I took the time to read this, because omg. I loved it so much. The characterization, the slow build-up in each chapter and in the entire fic, it was all so great.

I noticed you wrote this a couple of years ago, but it still feels really real, you know? Like, where Jisbon is in the show now, this fic would still fit in perfect with that, and with what's currently happening on the show. Hopefully you're still watching and maybe will even write something more?

A brilliant conclusion. Realistic handling of the Red John issue. Such great angst and beautiful romance. This has been an enthralling read. I loved it!

I am about to move on to chapter 4, but I just wanted to say that the ending (in particular) of this chapter is so beautiful. I could feel the anticipation, the mix of emotions that they were both experiencing. And then the note! I loved it!
