I basically skimmed through this because it's not my cup of tea, the charatcerization of the Briefs family wasn't my favorite, and alot of the things that happened could've been avoided simply by wishing on the dragonballs... but I kept to it because of sheer curiousity of what would become of the lives of my favorite DBZ family and I'm kinda glad I did just because Bunny said the best thing ever said in this story and it's a statement I stay behind 110%. The family didn't need any type of magic to be a family. They didn't need anyone or anything but each other. Even without the dragonballs, I have no doubt Vegeta and Bulma would've come together once again and Trunks is a mature child, he'd have handle the situation like the brave little man he is. He is Vegeta's son. He would've survived anything, and so would have the relationship of his parents. Bulma, pre-memory loss, found a way into Vegeta's heart and it would've be incredibly awesome that this time, Vegeta took it upon himself to find his way back into Bulma's, post-accident.

howlie mowlie! what a great sequel. I love that you made it difficult. my heart goes to Trunks. the way you described his ascension to super Saiyan 2 was phenomenal. I wanted to, jump in and hug him. Vegeta shutting down. OMG you're really good. you're my favorite author.

I will say that Piccolo almost sounds like #16 in his speech pattern

Okay, gotta list that as a bit of a problem, order of strength would not go Piccolo, Gohan, Goku,
it'd be Piccolo, Goku, Gohan, that elder Kai upgrade put him past Goku again. and even if Goku were stronger, Gohan is still absolute LEAGUES stronger than Vegeta by the end of the Buu Saga, and it'd take significantly more than a year to even remotely close the gap.
evidence for that being that Vegeta was overpowered both by the Fat form of Buu and Kid Buu, whereas Gohan was substantially stronger than Super Buu and only a little bit weaker than 'Buutenks'
