My guess about the lack of Rachel's dads: a casting thing maybe. I know we've seen a picture of them, but they've never actually had screen time. So maybe the guys who posed for the pic just aren't available or something.

wonderful story my dear, it is sooo sweet. but onto your author comment (i know it has nothing to do with the story, but i'm rather nit-picky about facts) i'm pretty sure Rachel isn't adopted. i think it said in the very first episode of the first season that she just didn't know which one of her fathers was her biological dad. apparently they had her biological mother go to the hospital and have some sperm from both of them put in her medically (u know, without sex). and they never found out which one is her biological father. so they live as if they are both her biological fathers even though that is impossible (sorry mpreg, you just aren't possible)

*sniffle* That was fantastic. Just the right amount of hot, and then the shift to adorable drama. And you're right. I feel like The Gay Dads should be included, if for no other reason than at least it would give Kurt some kind of idea what to expect reactions to be...or even what to hope for in a relationship. Clearly they've been together for at least 17 years, probably longer. Thats longer than a lot of straight couples manage to stay married. It would certianly be something for any orientation to shoot for.

I loved this and hope there'll be more. Dave needs to get inside those pants. :)

I officially love your fics. You are so good at writing! I told my friend to read "Earning It" and now she fully agrees with me that Kurt and Karofsky belong together!

Also, I totally agree about Rachel's dads. Kurt always says stuff about being the only gay kid and stuff and I'm like "Did you forget that Rachel's dads are gay?" and when Rachel doesn't say anything I think "OK, Kurt I can understand, but how did YOU forget your dads are gay?"
