Go Frank! That was awesome, and I was riveted the entire story. Percy's comment after she kisses him the first time was hilarious. I thought the story was beautiful and in – character and poignant. You really have a talent.

Fleur24 chapter 1 . 12/18/2010
""And without waiting for permission, he released his arm from her hand, executed a smart bow, and took off briskly down the hall with...yes, he was! The terrible thing was positively whistling!

Marguerite struggled for breath for an instant and finally seized enough to cry out in appalled tones.

"FRANK!"

The picture of the proper valet, Frank paused instantly, turned, and bowed.

"Your ladyship?"

Marguerite groped for words, and at last settled on the worst she could, at that moment, think of.

"You are exactly like your master!"

Frank's already beaming face brightened further, and he made another bow.

"Your ladyship does me too much honor."" That was really funny!

I absolutely loved this story! I loved reading the journal entry from their first christmas together and of their reunion!

Clio1792 chapter 1 . 11/22/2010
This was beautiful, and romantic.

Good to know that Marguerite can "mutter French imprecations," and hurl a wicked snowball.

Sometimes, you gotta keep a man in line...

And sometimes, the best Christmas presents...well, let's just say they don't come in traditional wrapping paper...

Thanks for writing this,

Clio
