Beautiful, poignant, and heartbreaking, even though it ended as I predicted. I really liked how you didn't show any sex, leaving it up to the readers to wonder if there was any - a wonderful example of show, don't tell.

I wanted them to meet again but this is so bittersweet. I loved it - it was such a poignant reminder of what it means to be a Warden and what it means to those left behind. I adored this fic so much, great job. :)

Varel and Erise are so tender with each other. Although, I agree with Erise, their choice of post-coital conversations is strange. But then again, when else are they going to have a chance to talk? NEVER, that's when!
