Okay first of all stupid story second Alistair is nearly twenty five go check Dragon age wiki and get done some history research of Dragon age it would do good to you instead of making idiotic stories
DarkKing009 chapter 1 . 1/16/2016
Loghain at his best a murder, a slaver and military hero of a week people

yeh...idiots
koolkame chapter 1 . 3/21/2011
Well, that was happy. Ferelden can seem full of idiots at times. The story was good, though, I definitely enjoyed reading it.
xenzen chapter 1 . 10/23/2010
A well-written story, but I'm having a lot of trouble believing the premise of it - Loghain himself was only a boy when he joined the resistance, so it doesn't make sense for me to see the duel with the Wardens refused on the basis of age. Also, in the desperate straits of war, especially on the losing side, age is often overlooked as long as they can do jobs - young boys were sent to retrieve spent ammunition in the streets, during the French revolution.

I'm also somewhat taken aback by the passivity of the Wardens, and that of their companions. You yourself established the character of the "PC" Warden - she slaughtered her way through the Arl of Denerim's estate - would she really just stand by and let them execute her? And on such a flimsy pretext, compared to killing an arl's son? Not to mention all the trials she endured since being recruited. I'm sorry, but it just doesn't fit. Perhaps if you had written her character differently, I would be willing to buy it.

One can argue that they were outnumbered at the Landsmeet, and went away quietly, but if the crew could infiltrate Fort Drakon, why not from the palace? Zevran and Morrigan are more than capable, sneaky and cunning to break them out.

In the end, it was these doubts that kept me from enjoying this story fully.
mutive chapter 1 . 10/23/2010
Awwww...poor Ferelden. It does all make sense, though I would imagine that Loghain would have taken out Eamon, too. (It makes so much sense!)
Harmakhis chapter 1 . 10/23/2010
I'd love to see a follow up to this story from Loghain's pov, covering from his 'victory' at the landsmeet, through killing the Archdemon the 2nd time, and ending with his last minutes, realizing he'd doomed Ferelden, etc.
JackOfBladesX chapter 1 . 10/22/2010
Wow...that sucks.

Guess it too much to hope that at least Alistair and the Warden (Oh yea...i went there) get a happy ending. Or at least an robin hood-esqe style escape...

There is a reason that i kept Zevran and Leliana around. And of course, Anora decided to be her bleeping bleep self. I'm insulted that there is no option to execute her right there in the landsmeet.

Anyway...yea, could so see that happening if Eamon fought...or the wardens lost. Though Eamon should have been able to declare a champion. Nice oneshot...still loved the part where Lohgain managed to kill the Archdemon twice by himself...pity he wasn't a warden (could definitely imagine the look on his face).
Arsinoe de Blassenville chapter 1 . 10/22/2010
That was great! Thanks for writing it! It's exactly the way I see it.
The Flying Frog chapter 1 . 10/22/2010
Ah the stupidity of prejudice. I respect Loghain's reputation and history before the game, but I seriously question his hatred of all things not Feraldan.
