Aw, poor Hiei! I would probably pity him, like the nun...and he would not like me...but I liked the description of Kurama.

Oooooh! I love this story very much. Every time I get bored or just all in all tired of real life I always come back to this story.I re-read it so many times I cannot count it anymore. The plot captivates me and the fact that the characters are as close to canon makes me love this more. Each time I re-read it makes me love it more and more.
Can't wait for the next chapter!

And thus the plot thickens. I like the use of Frankenstein being a layer to the story rather than just a name dropping of a good book. Kurama and Hiei's complexity is a nice character study about trauma and trying to romance through it. I'm just glad the intensity is between the two of them but I also like that there are outside remedies to their problems too-like Kuwabara and Yusuke being surprisingly emotionally intelligent or Sister Genkai, Father Taenaka, or Sister Midori as aids to these young men. I like that Hiei and Kurama get answers outside of each other too and come back with new information and influence the other and mostly for the better. I know this has been a long project of yours, and I'm glad to have finally read up to the current chapter. It is an experience. Thank you for writing vulnerability in their characters! The trope of BLs don't usually give justice to complexes like this so I'm glad you just trashed it and wrote them as you wanted. Thank you for your time and your work! I'm a sucker for AU settings like this for YuYu Hakusho!

I've read the existent chapters quite a lot of times and believe me, this feels all the more attractively magnetic each time I get to the last updated chapter. My apologies for this obsessive reading of this but as I've always said, Hiei x Kurama (when portrayed as or in similarity to themselves) are very close to my heart and the plot or the magic with which you weave it around them (ignore the small details of misspells) doesn't help my fawning over In the Eyes of the Angles. Hope you're well and feel like resuming writing this. Please do announce IF you ever think of officially discontinuing-Please don't discontinue but a writer writes first and foremost for themselves and the reader comes second so I cannot hope to change anyone's mind.

I must say I'm so excited and relieved that you updated. This has become one of my top three favorite stories of all time and I plan to follow it for as many years as it takes for you to finish it. This chapter was beautifully written and well worth the wait. I love that Hiei finally pushed that small bit of painful distance to hug Kurama and then hid the rash that of course Kurama noticed. I really love how you've created this AU with their curious back stories and interactions.
I look forward to see how everything else plays out and what storms will come to pass to reach that clear sky.

Ahhh I can't wait to see what happens next! It seems like there is no future for Hiei's budding feelings with the way his body erupts in a rash with the slightest touch, no matter how welcomed the touch is. I can't wait to see how to work this out in the chapters to come.

Captivating, pictures painted beautifully, and character portrayed exactly as I would expect from him. Plus Kurama intro. Believe me, I am internally screaming with delight!
