waitingforAslan chapter 3 . 6/27/2017 Such a chilling chapter! Dean's dream was horrible, and the little scared boy ghost is so sad. I found this part poignant: "'Thank you.' He whispered into the night. To the Sammy that he had known." On a lighter note, I loved Dean sticking up for the babysitter and feeling compassion for the old lady. |
T.L. Arens chapter 6 . 4/13/2011 Dang, I'd forgotten how well written this story was! I didn't even have to work to read it. I think this is the only story that contains not!Sam that I've encountered. And you've executed it perfectly, even allowed me to look into his soulless mind. Creepy how his mind is there, but his heart is not. I feel so badly for Dean! He's so frustrated, he's spitting nails. And this case is really well thought out. :D |
Haylia Jones chapter 10 . 2/28/2011 really great story. |
Psychee chapter 10 . 2/28/2011 First, great story. I really enjoyed it. Second, thanks for pointing out that by trying to figure out what he did, Sam is being very ungrateful for the pain that Dean endured during the roboSam time and to get Sam's soul back. He wants to make amends...just don't try to remember. Of course, Sam always does what he thinks is right even if it hurts others (he's still good at rationalizing). Also, I loved the part where Dean described Sam's soul. That embodies hope that things will get better and eventually be okay. |
BranchSuper chapter 9 . 1/25/2011 Very interesting, and moving. Even an angel was affected by the great horror that was the Holocaust. |
BranchSuper chapter 8 . 12/29/2010 Excellent story - an old horror reflected in the present through Dean's memories of Alistair and hell. You've caught the brothers very well: Dean's empathy for others and Robo-Sam's total lack thereof. Nicely done. Now to lay a tormented child's spirit to rest. |
Haylia Jones chapter 8 . 12/29/2010 i saw what you did thar! but really that was great! smart |
Haylia Jones chapter 7 . 12/27/2010 oh cool. I think the factual basis is more realistic. |
Sadie Hyde chapter 3 . 11/23/2010 I think you've definitely captured the horror that occurred without any disrespect to the victims. I really like this, I think you've captured the boys really well and they seem like themselves (which of course in Sam's case means not like Sam). I quite like Anita and look forward to more of her and Dean talking and how Dean refuses to make an old lady cry. Again. Spot on. That poor little boy... I hope Cas is right and they can change something for once. . |
moira4eku chapter 5 . 11/8/2010 Wow, you really have the boys personas down pat for season 6. Sam is so cold and unfeeling and truly doesn't understand why Dean would be upset at using a ghostly 3 year old. I wonder what Sam has discovered. Looking forward to the next chapter. |
Tuppence chapter 5 . 11/8/2010 Christ man. The plot thickens...and I can't wait for your next chapter. Again, a few minor mistakes in the form of inappropriate capital letters but a wonderful read. Hope you get the next chapter out soon! ~ Tuppence ~ |
Tuppence chapter 4 . 11/8/2010 Well, afraid is better than not-feeling-anything!Sam. I'm liking this random-emotions!Sam more and more. Well, compared to the current alternative. A few very minor mistakes, such as spelling "muttered" with a capital M. But man is this story developing into a helluva interesting one... ~ Tuppence ~ |
Queen Bee chapter 4 . 10/26/2010 Wow. I imagine that I am not the first one to congratulate you on writing such a wonderful story. It is sad and intriguing...and you are handling the sensitive subject matter very respectfully. This is beautifully written and I'm looking forward to the rest. Great job! |
Tuppence chapter 3 . 10/21/2010 Ouch. Talk about massively unpleasant but great to see slender shades of old Sam returning. Can't wait for your next chapter. ~ Tuppence ~ |
moira4eku chapter 3 . 10/20/2010 I've just read the first 3 chapters and found them quite fascinating. You've taken on a sensitive theme that I don't remember ever reading about before with SN fanfiction. You are handling it quite well and truly have the feel of Dean and Sam of season 6. I'm looking quite forward to reading where your story may go. |
