I like the pairings! I don't get enough of them here, though, with so much... ahem... infidelity happening... however it could be subtitled: "Swingers at The Old House". ;) There seems to be a lot of that going on. Definitely enjoyable, in an S & M way, for these couples. It makes me wonder if the ladies can be sure which child belongs to which man, but I suppose in the end they're all Collins' anyway.

It's always such a trip to watch Angelique. With all her powers one would imagine she'd refuse the life of a servant, run off and live with a First Nations tribe or something and be a healer. We've deduced she's just koo-koo and can't even help herself with any herbal knowledge or spell-casting there. I'm glad there is some Quentin action here. From what I've worked out discussing it with others now, it looks like he's the perfect fit for her. Angelique often has been so undeserving of anyone... might as well give her someone who's already *had* just about everyone else, right? ;)

Very nicely done, and I know what you mean about appreciating reviews and comments. It is very very important. When it's just us writers talking to each other, as great as that is, we're all too fragmented with out own universes to be as helpful as our readers could be.

Wow! I got a little lost with the previous chapter but I love this one! Neat putting all of this together, keeping Josette young, putting in some drama with a missing child and her not minding his need to find his sustenance elsewhere. What a lady!

This ending is awwww-some. What could be better than four happy couples and many babies too! How wild that 3 babes will be born around the same time; and that Josette and Barnabas's babe might be younger than their vampniece or vampnephew. That twist is very "Modern Family" and I love it. :-)

Wake up and smell the sweetness, Angelique - Quentin loves you and Barnabas most assuredly does not.

I respect Angelique for putting Samantha ahead of her own love life.

A very lovely and touching scene between Barnabas and his little girl. I'm relieved that Barnabas didn't try to destroy Morgan for macking on his baby. :-)

I loved the mother/daughter conversation and I am so glad that Melanie had forgiven Josette.

I'm relieved and touched that Melanie can and has forgiven Josette so readily. Vamp or no, she's got a huge heart.

I can't wait for Barnabas and Melanie to interact as pa and daughter although he might not be as happy as Josette that he's going to be a grand-vamp. :-)

I think it's a relief that Barnabas can still call out to God for help even though he often thinks he's a monster. I hope Josette can soon and permanently bring him, out of that mindset - it's not his fault Angelique cursed him.

Time travel is so cool in tales because it opens such possibilities.

I adore the image of Barnabas sweeping Josette, clad in a beautiful gown, right past Angelique so they can save their daughter. :-)

This chapter expresses a lot of what I love about supernatural tales, especially yours - you CAN often go back again and not only heal the wounds of the past but the past itself.

If you ever have a chance to see the movie "Frequency" with Dennis Quaid, that's a great example of this. :-)

Ouch to the power of 9! I know Angelique is a hussy but she's being seriously flambeed here. Barnabas is sure sticking his head in the lion'd mouth! I love the drama and passion of this tale. Josette is very sweet and I hope she and Barnabas can work it out. :)
