Guest chapter 1 . 6/14/2018 Powerpuff Girls Live Action Movie Series The Powerpuff Girls The girls had turned 16 and had just started their freshmen year in college. Yet with crime in bay, they still have to fight the issues of rebelling against their father, peer pressure, first loves and whatnot Blossom The eldest of the Powderpuff girls, Blossom takes the inspiration from MCU's Gwen Stacy- supremely intelligent, manipulative, fashionable and all too much like her father. She is set to inherit her father's vast science empire, but she met the Boy Next Door who changed her life Buttercup Being the middle child ain't ever easy. The goth girl actually has a golden heart underneath that mountain of shark. Her hair had grown to shoulder length and she aspires to be a government agent. Bubbles With a hair of gold and heart of sunshine, Bubbly is the sweetest little thing, an artistic who is an art major. She is not as air headed as sheay seem, as she can be just as smart as Blossom. Love interests Jared Shapiro In this movie verse, Blossom met her close friend Jared in college. Jared is the son of one of Prof. Utonium's friends, and is characterized as a friendly, science genius nerd. He is turned from Blossom's friend/rival to main love interest. Robert Saville Robert is the residential bad boy in a leather jacket, who takes guts from no one. With his raven hair and aloof attitude, he got a job being Buttercup's partner. Edward Keane The Mayor's son with a VERY outgoing nature, and loves animals. |
This is the real deal chapter 1 . 1/19/2017 This. Is. Awesome. Not because of the quality of the fic or anything (the quality is excellent, don't worry), but because there is a gathering of all the underappreciated villains of the fandom, all in one place, and ALL of them are in character! Everybody is beautifully true to themselves in the small snippets that they said or segments that they appeared. It's nice to see all of them gathered here like this, and the Rowdyruffs actually being here as... you know... BAD guys! This has got the same vibe going for it as the Powerpuff Girls movie from this little intro segment, which I guess is what you were aiming for (obviously) with this being written more like a movie. It's gonna take me a while to get used to the format I guess, but it's not really that drastic like it's written in a script or anything. It was just the intro song in the middle songfic style. I wonder if you'll include other songs from the various Powerpuff Girls albums or movie OST like 'Fight the Power', also by Bis? Hmm... Oh yeah, and that little action sequence with them brawling with all of the villains was also very movie-esque which was awesome! Although it was also strange to get used to. I ended up actually playing the song over it while I was reading and that really built up that atmosphere! Anyway, all good work of writing has some flaws, and this isn't an exception. The description of the girls's appearance right at the beginning seems to have read a little bit more like a list or something weird like that than an actual description, and the description of Blossom's bow as horns is rather strange, but that bit is more personal preference (they look more like bunny ears to me). I wouldn't say take it out though because this way even people unfamiliar with the fandom can read it. There are a couple of spelling and grammar issues dotted throughout. Not many, and none I can remember off the top of my head so I won't really point them all out, but THIS paragraph was weird. " 'Are you crazy Red? We're at the top of our game here! 'What, you want to leave saving the day to the cops?' said Buttercup " Both of these bits of dialogue are Buttercup, and the paragraph hadn't gotten big enough for it to need to be split. Plus, the second thing that Buttercup said sounded like a reply to somebody, like some piece of dialogue from Blossom was cut out (it explains why it states that it's Buttercup speaking again when we already KNOW that. Anyway, this is really cool, and considering that this is some of your older stuff, I can imagine that your other work only gets better. I wish there were still other writers like you on the fandom because I really miss seeing good stuff like this. I wish I was writing in THIS fandom as a kid... Then again, I would have produced absolute trash if I did that so maybe it's for the best I just look at your work and try and follow it as an example? Anyway, awesome sauce! I'm going to enjoy reading through this! |
Lara eston chapter 1 . 4/28/2015 Where's the movie |
TheFrankadin chapter 10 . 3/2/2014 Very well done! Very entertaining and well written! Favorite Chapter: Planet of the Apes. I'm a sucker for good action sequences. Favorite Quote: "Wow," wondered Buttercup aloud. "Who thought one could get so loopy on space juice." This whole chapter was just really fun to read. Favorite Character: I honestly liked all of the characters. But one character that particularly intrigued me was the alien ninja. I bet she's had some awesome adventures and some wild stories to tell. That is, before Mojo blasted her to kingdom come. Favorite Moment: When the Mayor, the Professor, and Ms. Bellum are stalling from being burned at the stake. That was clever and totally something that I could imagine actually happening in the show's universe. Things that were fantastic: As I said above, the entire chapter 'The Planet of the Apes' was just really well done. I'd say it was that chapter as a whole. Things that you didn't like: Not necessarily something I didn't like, but something that caught my attention while I was reading was that the characters make it to the Andromeda Galaxy in a few weeks, when it takes light 2.5 million years to reach it. This means that they would've been travelling MUCH faster than the speed of light to make it in that time frame. Again, not something that I didn't like, just something I mentally noted. Did it feel canon? Absolutely! Did it feel like the staff's show wrote this? If someone told me they had, I would believe it. Did it feel like a movie? Without a doubt. Two thumbs up! Can't wait for the next one. |
thecreator123 chapter 9 . 7/3/2013 THIS IS THE BEST EVER even though when i looked up the powerpuff girls movie two there was a picture of the powerpunk girls but THIS IS AWESOME your awesome |
thecreator123 chapter 1 . 7/2/2013 Is there really a second movie? anyway this is really good |
nina chapter 1 . 3/3/2013 j'aime bien les supers nanas |
Alicorn Tapestry chapter 2 . 9/29/2012 At first I thought the 'no future' line was about how they might not age and grow up at all, and stay 'just kids' because well the PPG might not be born into money but they have powers and could easily find ways to make it. Isn't the Mayor's office an elected one so wouldn't this just mean that he is giving away personal things like a grandfather? I really think he's more of that to the girls than Princess. The whole thing just seems odd...But oh well, onto a race in what sounds like Him's pool party planet XD |
Acid Fish chapter 10 . 9/28/2012 - Favorite Chapter 6 or maybe 5? - Favorite Quote "I'm gonna miss Johnny Bravo!" - Favorite Character HIM - Favorite Moment When HIM so easily tricked the villains into listening to his plan - Things that were fantastic The fight scenes - Things that you didn't like how HIM was defeated, it seemed kind of lacking in a cool fight scene with HIM - Did it feel canon? Yes it did feel sort of like that, but this is your story, not mine I thought it was great and it made sense, so great job. |
Alicorn Tapestry chapter 1 . 9/27/2012 I think I reviewed before about the clothing details at the beginning feeling a bit list like and out of the flow of the story like they were popped out of a script rather than being an organic part of the description. Often actions and surrounding details feel like they're being talked about as two different things. While the movie like actions are very well done and believable I feel like parts meant to make us feel deeper emotion are well...lacking that emotion. It's the difference between saying 'they cried' and actually feeling their soul be racked over the coals remembering something I guess you could say. While your pov sort of limits this, and I am no master at it ether, I really miss it when it is gone because as a reader I love to care for characters as people and not just actors doing cool things, you know? :) I hope you can bring some of that in later stories. |
Guest chapter 10 . 7/11/2012 I don't care that some of the script was from the Spongebob movie. I don't care that some language isn't suitable for someone their age. This was awesome. Fav Chapter: Ch. 2 Fav Quote: 'I'm sorry I betrayed you' Fav Character: Princess Morbucks Fav Moment: The Mayor's announcement Fantastic: Hacha and Arturo causing mayhem and their fav foods. Didn't like: n/a This feels canon. P. S. Have you seen Powerpuff Girls Z anime? |
HoldTheTruthForever chapter 10 . 4/3/2012 Hats off to you my friend...again and again. favorite chapter: Planet of the Apes favorite quote: "I'm sorry I betrayed you." favorite character: Amoeba Boys (I always liked them) favorite moment: When Mojo was leaving. It seemed well written for a tragic character like him. things that were fantastic: you were able to capture each character's personalities spot on. things I didn't like: I had a hard time following the Mojo vs Blossom fight at the end. And yes, this seems like an actual script for a movie. You made, what I think, is the best fanfiction I have ever read. EVER. |
The More Loving One chapter 10 . 2/24/2012 O..M...G... AMAZING! 1.) Fave chap: The one in Hims lair. 2.) Fave quote: "Im gonna miss Johnny Bravo!" 3.) Face char.: Bubbles. She barely ever gets the spotlight, but you gave her time to shine. 4.) Fave moment: I couldnt choose if I tried! o.o 5.) Fantastic: You gave each girl a specialness, instead of just basing it on Blossom. I like how you paired the monkeys and the villains, and I find it amazing you remembered all the monkeys names. o.o 6.) Dislike: Nothing really, but I havent read 3 yet, so Him and the brawl seem kinda like a cliffie to me.. 7.) Yes, yes, and yes! |
