Very good story, but why does McCoy always send Kirk away when poor Spock is finally just awakening? Surely, just because he has lost some hours of sleep...and one assumes Kirk cat naps in a chair...in the 24th century, one would assume Sickbay would accommodate the Captain wit a Sleeper type chair...that Kirk could stick around and comfort Spock a bit, without some overriding worry for the Captain’s own collapse! Personally, I think McCoy is just jealous! Lol!

That would make for a good follow up, Kirk always being chased off by McCoy...just as he is visiting and pampering Spock...and finally Kirk confronts McCoy about his “Mother Hen” interference. Just a suggestion.

There is a grammar mistake towards the end, which I'm not sure if you caught or not. In the sentence "Spock felt weak and did not knowing why he was so weak..." It should be "know" instead of "knowing.
