this was amazing. i'm sort of surprised at how long it ended up being, but i don't mind in the least. it's flawlessly written, and i, for the most part, completely agree.

So, I don't really read Psych! fiction. I just don't. However, the stories in my current fandom are between updates and I just finished watching season 5 and so bam, here I am. Anyway, wanted to say that this was incredibly bittersweet and I enjoyed it. Usually fics don't provoke emotion from me - y'know, beyond humour in terms of the one-offs like this - but this did, and I definitely bookmarked it. Poor Shawn. :(

Found this through reading "Jumping on Cars with Criminals," which I didn't review because I'm terrible but which was also very well-written. I don't know how you manage to capture the tone of the series so well, but you do and I can't wait to read more in this fandom from you. Thanks for the stories!

Oh yes, I see Shawn doing something drastic to avoid confronting his feelings. It's the Shawn Spencer way.

But poor Shawn. If Juliet really does do that it would be the cruelest thing she could do. I mean, you can't kiss someone then run away with another guy. No, she can't do that.

I did enjoy the mid-season finale, too. I was so excited Juliet and Shawn finally kissed. After five years of leaving us out to dry, there is a light at the end of the tunnel. They are finally on the path to becoming a couple.

Although Declan doesn't exactly deserve to be strung along. She should leave him for Shawn, but apologize for dating him when she clearly loves someone else. But that's my opinion.

Anyhoo, great job and here's hoping Shawn and Jules aren't awkward around each other when the new episodes come back on.

I don't even think "aww" begins to describe this. I haven't seen the ep, but I can pretty much picture everything from this, and I would imagine this was pretty much exactly what happened when the curtain came down. I love how much Gus understood with Shawn barely saying anything (and my heart breaks for him. :( ). You have beyond a gift for banter...I think between this and your GG fics, you've pretty much cornered the market. Clearly, your fangirling reaps greta benefits. :D
