I keep re-reading this, especially the last two chapters. I can't let go of it, all of them in so much pain and confusion. Sadly I lack the imagination to find a satisfying end, so please finish it? (!)

Oh my gosh, this story is amazing! I literally cried when I realized you hadn't completed it yet. All the angst, it's so hard to bear, and even harder to bear not knowing what will happen next. I hope you continue soon :D
I think you really have a great understanding of both Frodo and Sam. I feel like you really know them so well that you know what actions they would take when put into circumstances that didn't occur in canon. You wrote their conflict perfectly: I can understand why each of them are behaving the way the are, and they both have so much reason for the negative actions/words they do/say to each other and to the rest of the Fellowship. I feel terrible for Frodo, because he hates himself so much that he can't stand to have Sam love and forgive him and on top of all that he blames himself for everything that happened to Sam (like what happened to Sam's hand). And then I feel terrible for Sam, as well because he's really trying to do everything that he can for Frodo, but in the end he doesn't feel like it's enough and all that he wants is to have Frodo's friendship again but Frodo keeps pushing him away!
And oh my, I'm just so on edge! I can't wait to see what happens with Sam. I know he's planning on doing something terrible to himself and that he plans on not seeing the Fellowship again. And I'm still wondering which direction you're planning on taking it. You know, whether the Fellowship will find him alive not not.
Anyway, this is such a great fic and I hope you update soon :)

I've been reading this story, but as with "Cusp of Victory" I couldn't think of anything to say in a review, until now. This is angst done right! It explores the characters' PTSD in a realistic way. Now how will they find Sam?
