Oh wow...this is incredibly insightful. I've always wondered, since it never quite goes into it, how Rory reconciles the himself of his present and the himself of the past that never was...an excellent little window into what i'm sure is a conflict in him sometimes. I just...love the Ponds so much...

Oh, lovely. But then, I wouldn't have expected anything less. Lovely portrayal of Rory's inner strength - and tolerance - for both the Doctor and Amy. He must have the patience of a saint.

That line especially stuck out to me. Mostly because it reminded me of a certain -other- character too.

I love this. Rory having the muscle memory to fight off purple people-thing aliens with a SWORD and being all dashing and the hero while the Doctor was, no doubt, attempting diplomacy.

I might have to steal that plot bunny for my own devices. Sorry.

This is very well done, providing insight into Rory's thoughts on himself, Amy and the Doctor and also giving a great big helping of ADORABLE with the Doctor bouncing in and joining Amy and Rory. And then Rory kicking the Doctor out.

I adore that opening paragraph, the image is just brilliant! It's great that this is from Rory's pov, and I like the idea that even if he's not technologically superior, some part of him is over twice The Doctor's age now. I just love Rory - he's a sweetie.
