Hybrid-Cookie376 chapter 1 . 9/5/2016 This was so great, so sad and so good. I particularly liked Prim's part - especially her first paragraph about the plants they were named after and they relate. I also really liked the last part with Gale and Katniss being together for that one night, and I loved this line: ' "Pretend with me," she begged in a strained voice, still holding his face her hands. "Just for tonight…" ' |
Clara Meliza chapter 1 . 9/19/2012 This was beautiful. |
SlyFawkes chapter 1 . 9/15/2012 Very moving. I love that song by the way. I can see how it inspired you. |
LeLa London chapter 1 . 5/5/2012 Mind-blowing story. Adds a lot perspective to Mockingjay and the whole series. |
TaraRae89 chapter 1 . 4/14/2012 This style reminds me of the Mockingjay. It tore my heart open. I mean this is in absolutely the best way possible, as an author you are wonderful. |
tanadhari chapter 1 . 3/27/2012 So much angst! My type of story. You should really turn this into a full story. I'd love to read it. |
iridescent bookyworm chapter 1 . 1/28/2012 Oh my Gale I'm crying! This was so amazingly done! I love how Gale knows Katniss isn't planning on surviving that just made this fanfiction so much more deliciously full of angst. Please keep writing! There needs to be mikre stories like this on fanfiction! |
Ellenka chapter 1 . 1/14/2012 Ahh, this is a wonderful collection! I loved your portrayal of all characters involved and all the exuisite details and observations from their lives you included. And the beautiful writing style with numerous meaningful and perfectly faceted sentence-gems. Wonderful work. I may be biased, but my absolute favorite was no. 4. I'm so overwhelmed I simply need to quote: "He wanted to tear it down and he wanted Katniss to want that too." - one of the best "Gale's character and motivation in a nutshell" sentences ever. "...their tongues desperately tangled in a knot of words unspoken..." - awww. Fangirl swoon. Imo, this was a perfectly in character example of Gale/Katniss communication how it should be ;) "Her death would be Peeta's, but her life had always belonged to Gale." - and this is, at least according to my wacky interpretation, so perfectly in line with the meaning of the canon it's scary. Wah, if something like this happened in the original books, Id actually feel better about them. Thank you very much for an amazing reading experience! :D |
MrsMosley chapter 1 . 1/13/2012 I'm actually not a katniss/gale fan, but that doesn't change the fact that your story is strong and bright and worthy. Great job. |
Kina Kalamari chapter 1 . 8/29/2011 Amazing. Simply amazing. I don't even know what else to say. Am I favoriting this story? HELL YES. |
Cami.LC chapter 1 . 8/8/2011 Wow! It's very well-written and believable. You're a great author. |
MadeOfStars chapter 1 . 7/3/2011 All these moments could be real and they were all heart-wrenching. Particulat faves were the Peeta/Haymitch scene and katniss and Gale, even though I am certainly K/P all the way. Excellent job! |
Howlynn chapter 1 . 6/26/2011 Another Wow. Very logical - not every scrap wrapped up but in a good way that adds to the story rather than seems like a missing bit - love the little jump to canon where Katniss has it all ready in her head - expecting to have the goodbye - that will never be -very cool touch. |
EStrunk chapter 1 . 2/2/2011 Wow - what a writer you are. Each one of those was so powerful, but I think the last one was the best/worst. I almost wish that had happened - that they could have one night together, although of course all of the Mockingjay events would still be horrible. But Gale deserved something. |
roj chapter 1 . 10/25/2010 You write so well. This is beautiful. |
