Loved it! Beckett, Castle, and Carter were definitely in character and I could totally picture them meeting on that ship through your story. The "they're gray" line was awesome ;)

In one hand, it is well written and the characters are mostly true to themselves.

In the other hand, the whole plot feels off, even though I cannot quite put my finger on what I don't like.

I also liked the tie-in for the Becketts. It's nice to think that Carson has at least one relative he can still talk to.

Would love to have seen a convo between Beckett and her boys though when she tried to explain that she can't tell them anything! lol

Ok, I'm a fan of Castle and like the characters and all, so I've tried my best to suspend my disbelief. But I am also a fan of Stargate and find it ludicrous that Beckett would in any way intimidate Sam or that Sam would circumvent procedure in order to appease a lowly NYPD detective's sense of justice and ego. Sure, SG personnel break protocol on occasion, but that's in dire emergencies and with people with genuine ability to aid them. An author and a detective, no matter how skilled or intelligent don't have the training to hang with spec-ops level military personnel, nor do they have any particular skillset that would require an exception to protocol in this relatively mild situation (one escaped wraith with a whole ship of crew and SG-1 on hand to stop it).

I LOVE this story! I really do! :) It's so good! :) Great plot, you described the characters well (loved Cams comments! xD) and all in all I had so much fun reading! :) A Wraith on earth a and Castle, of all people, had to hold on its ankle! xD And then Beckett met her cousin again, who she thought was dead. Nice thing. :) I miss SG-1 in action...but here they were again, almost complete. ;) :D

This was a really fun story to read. You did a good job capturing season1 Castle&Beckitt, and having Carson be her cousin was quite amusing. Well done.

Fantabulous to just see Kate and Carson chatting without any life threatening situations getting in the way.

I really enjoyed this story. Although I wouldn't envy Beckett, having to explain what happened to Montgomery without crossing over into nondisclosure areas, it still seems a fair trade-off for ending up in space, in a totally sci-fi situation. I loved that it was Castle's shot that brought down the Wraith, after everyone had been so busy underestimating him. Thanks for sharing your work!
