I'm still waiting and looking forward to see how the story end. I could say this is the best fic I read!

Hello! Long time no hear. I've followed this story from around the time when it was first published. Holy crap, I can't believe how much time has passed since then. 8 years? We've all grown up, although it's apparent now that my love for fic and this story will never stop.

I just reread everything again from the beginning, and it's a pleasure to view everything with a more mature outlook. I've begun to understand the details you've tackled here that largely went over my head when I was younger, and I've developed a newfound appreciation for the poetic format. Not a lot of stories adopt this kind of format, and I'm a sucker for flowery prose. While I'm definitely going to miss it when it changes, I'll support whatever you have in mind! I'm just so grateful that you haven't forgotten this fic. That already sets you above many other writers who simply drop off the face of the planet without a single word (like me).

Truth be told, I had fallen out of this fandom for a long time and moved on to several other fandoms. The few reasons that made me revisit SO3 is just your fic, and the recent mobile game called Star Ocean: Anamnesis. If you haven't heard of it before, you should definitely give it a shot! The nostalgia really hits you hard, and it might help inspiring you if you ever want to continue your fics. It's basically an adventure pool gacha game where you can roll characters spanning the entire Star Ocean series in top tier high definition models and fight with them. Albel just debuted in the pool, and he looks so fucking amazing in modern graphics. I almost can't breathe LOL the inner fangirl deep inside of me came out all over again when I saw him. Fayt hasn't come out yet, though I'm hoping he'll be available soon - I want to see them interact!

Anyhow, sorry for the unnecessary rambling. I'm just so excited to see you again. I've missed you! I hope things bode well for you from here on out.

p.s You might want to consider AO3 as a better alternative for fics! They let you format your fics more freely, not to mention a major portion of the writer community has migrated there.

Apparently you can only review each chapter once. What a bunch of balogna! What if I want to read this story for a third time and leave new comments? (Actuall, that should be changed to WHEN I read this a third time. It is basically a guarentee lol)

I really really love the next chapter, so I couldn't help reading this chapter too.

I realized that while reading this story, I feel such strong anxiety afterwards lol. You can really FEEL the emotions that the characters are going through. Albel's outburst is particularly powerful, and is such a chilling scene to me.

All of these chapters are too dang perfect. All of Fayt's and Albel's interactions are so perfect, and so... in character! Rare for stories of this pair. This is definitely the most realistic story I have ever read for Star Ocean 3, for sure.

This chapter is HILARIOUS! Their teasing is great :) I love their relationship, and how they treat each other like equals, more-or-less.

I really want to read this slowly the 2nd time. Savor it. But damn, I'm just as addicted to reading it the 2nd time as the 1st. I don't want it to end! *sob* I hope you are doing well!

Oh. Man. After reading all 22 chapters so far, and now starting at the beginning again... WOW! All of these little details pointing in the direction of plot further down the story line.

Damn. I'm reading slowly to really try and catch all of the details. There is so much there, if you are careful enough to look. I am going to enjoy this second read-through sooooo much!

Your poetic style is sometimes difficult to understand with the spacing and all, but I still like it!

I'm so thankful to hear that this would be the easier of the two fics to update, phew! I'm on the edge of my seat here!

Even if you end up deciding not to continue it (and maybe just posting a summary of how you wanted it to end? Lol) I am so grateful to have been able to read this wonderful piece of art. Out of all the Star Ocean fanfics I have read, this one is absolutely by far the best, and I am glad to have experienced it.

Oh thank goodness, I was hoping this was the case! Now, how to prove that Fayt didn't REALLY do it...

And now that I'm on the second-to-last chapter, I am incredibly terrified that it is going to be a "sorry, I just can't write this story anymore, bye bye" Oh man, please don't let me down!

I mean, I think everything is trying to imply that the deaths are Fayt's fault, but something in my mind is telling me that he is a red herring, hmmmm...

I, like, can't even handle the amount of emotions this story gives me. I'm so grateful that I get to read something so good!

This. Is. SO. good. I can't even comprehend how well your writing is. After I'm caught up to the most recent chapter I am DEFINITELY going to start reading from the very beginning and try to pick up all the subtle nuances you add into everything.
