I'm pleasantly surprised to come back to several chapters I've been missing. This made my attachment to Star Ocean resurface; most importantly Albel/Fayt. They all have a lot of emotional problems inside, with Maria having issues with Cliff's and Mirage's upcoming marriage, Albel and Fayt with their loss of those important to them and their never ending struggle to define who they are exactly. Even though I don't particularly like Sophia, but the pain of her being rejected gets to me, which led me to sympathize with her a bit more.

I love the simplistic way you portray the scenes, but it gets the point across clearly. Oh and by the way, Roger's newfound crush on Peppita is really cute 3

You made me miss this story again, so it's up to you to keep me satisfied with new chapters! Upload soon! :)

I do like this story and I'm glad you retuned to updating it.

However...if I may point out...

Albel shouldn't be feeling anything in his left arm because he doesn't have it anymore. If you think I'm crazy, I invite you to boot up the old PS2 (or your PS3,whatever) and check out an old SO:3 save. If you read the description of the battle skill Palm of Destruction it refers to Albel's arm being artificial.

I'm sorry, but this particular detail gets on my nerves as so few writers actually pay attention to it. It's not a theory; it's canon fact.

I love this fic. Anytime I get an email saying it's been updated I kinda look past it at first (I get a lot of FF updates I don't really care about...) But when I check again later and see that it's this one I can't help but smile and think "Yay!" and open it so I don't forget about it. I'm excited to see where this will go! Update again! D

isn't that the best way to write a story? instead of flying by the seat of your pants the entire story developing it one chapter at a time, isn't it better to know how you wish the tale to end and then come up with all the parts leading up to that point?
