So I normally don't delve into crossovers, but I watched an Eddie Mclintock and Colin Ferguson interview and thought I'd take a look for fics just on a whim. I mostly found Claudia and Fargo, which was a given, but this - I never thought of this, and it's awesome. Your characterizations were excellent, and I'm just completely into this scenario. I think I've just found a place in my heart for Grant/Helena, even if it is an "out there" pairing. This is entirely great - great idea, great execution. Thanks for sharing. I'm guessing you don't feel the need to write more, but if you did - I'd totally read it, just so you know.

I never thought of this pairing, but it seems so utterly perfect. Gosh. Now I want a whole series about Grant and Helena! I know I keep repeating myself, but your writing really is very good. You give enough detail that I can imagine the scene, but not so much that the flow of action gets bogged down. Grand work again!

Hmm interesting idea and one that certainly has merit. The two do have a lot in common being displaced from their regular time(s). Even more so if it was around the same year. I especially enjoy the whole connection to the Time Machine. Very nice touch. Makes me wonder if Wells is so homesick she might try stealing an artifact/invention that has time travel capabilities. Course if that's the case then that would also solve Grant's problem. Right I'm rambling by now and should probably stop. Anyway interesting story any chance of you continuing this?
