homeathogwarts chapter 1 . 10/20/2012 This was awesome. :) You've done a nice job of that not-quite-there frustration that plagues her. |
FlyingLovegood123 chapter 1 . 10/9/2012 Poor Donna! Man, I HATE what happened to her. Thank you for writing. I really loved reading this. |
domina tempore chapter 1 . 3/1/2011 I love this. Oh, I can definitely see all of these things going through Donna’s head; you’ve got an excellent take on her (and that’s very difficult!). The little things that you have her half-remember, like Pompeii and seeing the TARDIS again, were just right (though would the Doctor really be that careless about where he parked?). I actually really liked that you put her thoughts in parenthesis; not sure why, but it gave the story a slightly different feel to it than italics would have, and I like that. I loved these two lines; “And she doesn't, she really doesn't (except when she does) and if she only had the answers, all the answers. (She had them once. She knew everything once. All of time and space and)” “it's like trying to catch dust with her bare hands; she grabs at where it was, but when she opens her hands to look there's nothing there.” Brilliant story. I’ve put it into the “Utterly Brilliant” community. ;) |
Adriana DiVolpe chapter 1 . 11/11/2010 I love the way you've done this; the style works very well. My favourite bit is the analogy with the dust: it's so fitting and it gave me the chills a little bit. |
xPhoenix0Returnx chapter 1 . 10/21/2010 Oh, this is beautiful. And I feel so terribly bad for Donna. She definitely got the worst possible ending. I wish there was something more for her! I love the way you wrote this; the little bits of her memories popping out just randomly and her odd feelings. It's...I want to say realistic but, would that make sense? Ah, I hope you know what I mean though. I love this. Even if Donna's situation breaks my heard. (I do love the last line. I can't ever think of the air particles the same way again because of Silence in the Library and the Vashta Nerada!) |
