So why then did you reject your son, Sarek?

Sarek is not logical. He says he cannot bond with Spock because it may damage him - a half human person. He is clearly telling lies. If Sareks full bond with Amanda did not damage her, then how would a familial bond possibly damage Spock?

I still think Sarek does not wish to bond with Spock because Sarek has always rejected the half breed son! That is why he hit Spock - because the half human son rejected the Vulcan ways.

Sarek claims to love Amanda but clearly he hates their half bred son - because he chose right from the beginning of Spock life to not bond with him - I do not understand that logic!

The human have a saying - which I know to be true.
Actions speak louder then words.

So Sarek's declaration of love for his son are a farce - a lie. Sarek is only saying what he thinks his son wants to hear. He still will NOT bond with his son but that the only proof of love that Spock will accept.

She appears stone cold but I'm not entirely unsympathetic in spite of this. Glad for T'Pring that she has her mate and their child at least.
