"That's a good phantom." BEST LINE EVER!

I love this story so far! This chapter was hilarious. Keep writing Meg/Erik stories:)

This story...like, asbfjblkdsbajdfkbnvmbnvbbjvcv.
It's SO sweet and while one or two of the lines were a tad corny, i felt as though it stayed true enough to Gerard Butler's Phantom, and he was sweet without losing some of that fire within him. And i LOVE your chapter where they go to the cemetary and Raoul sees Meg there. The movie made it seem like it was Madame Giry, but she was old during the actual movie and women didn't live long back then and so it Had to have been Meg. I just love how you tied everything together. This should seriously be published...i love this. Gahhhh. XD

I read this years ago but didn't have an account then to review so here it is now; you are a brilliant writer and this story was an absolutely magnificent gem!
I'm back after nearly 2 years and reading this again, having discovered it in my old bookmarks and am so excited to get to experience it again!

I'm not sure if there are any more Meg/Erik fics out there, hopefully there are, but this was so enjoyable/wonderful! I loved every chapter, you really have a gift in writing, the reader is totally taken in. I especially liked the fact that you spanned it out over the course of their lives together, giving us some delightful snippets of memorable moments in time. This reminds me of my favorite little women story about jo/teddy, though I can't recall the name right now, in the way that it's written, plus the emotion and just wholesome feeling I get from most of this. Anyway, I'd love to see more from you, and I hope this was encouraging as I know everyone appreciates feedback. Ciao :)

Well, the emotional angle from Erik's perspective is a bit too quick, but the idea of it, and Meg's honest, simple acceptance of him is spot on.

Meg Phantom WIN!

It's like, I get why he fixated on Christine to begin with. He wanted to craft a voice that was perfectly suited to his music, and so he taught her from the beginning. But what I never got was why the hell he fell in love with her! Sure, she was beautiful and all... but what other qualities did she have? She was weak-willed, fluttery and terrified of everything... Meg displays more charm, courage, and character in the 3.5 seconds she's on-screen than Christine does throughout the entire 2004 movie! (I can't speak for the rest of the Phantom stories, since it's been about 12 years since I read the original Leroux and have never seen any of the other films/novels)
