Just out of curiosity, do you happen to watch a lot of police or medical dramas? I happened to be reading this while watching an episode of Bones and the dialogue was very similar to the banter you find on those types of shows.

I have a hard time feeling sad for him after I took a moment to realize he had everything he needed to prevent this but somehow still messed it up, the only one I feel bad for is Rebecca cause she fell in love with the wrong person.

As much as I like the story I find it really hypocritical to want to "save garrus from himself" and saying that to him that end don't justify the mean (yes it doesn't) but while playing mass effect universe you are litteraly taking the place of a specter, one who kill anyone in his way mercs, scientist, clones, husks, krogans, wildlife... to get to his/her goals...
And your character has a fake identity, fake referential, knowledge of people, stealing their achievement (to bring justice sooner but still) and is still killing people when he feel they deserve it...

Keeps getting better and better I really like the way that you keep everything mysterious too often in these self insert stories everybody gives all the information away within the first chapters we’re almost through the first part of the story and we still don’t fully understand his purpose the method by which she got there or his ultimate power to change things that to me makes the story much more interesting

I’ve also noticed something you’ve done with the redux that makes it better this story the character seems to in brace the I’m in a game element or is your redux he seems to embrace more of this is just the new reality it makes things have more levity
