brenda.warren.1257 chapter 1 . 7/6/2014 he didn't kill her he changed her into a vampire now they can be together forever |
SubtlePen chapter 1 . 11/15/2012 OH yeah! great exploration of what was highly possible in canon. i love the 'what if' prompts best - and this one is a perfect response. yes, the third person detachment, being overwhelmed by his singer's blood to the point of even denying his own identity and hers as well. the description of his surroundings, or his obliviousness to them, the sensations of drinking her blood, the disorientation from being blood drunk - perfect. what was the purpose of SM creating the concept of la tua cantante if not to be so rare and powerful that it was incontrovertibly irresistable, and if so - how was he able to resist? if you set aside the suspension of disbelief we all grant SM and follow her setup more logically, this is exactly where it leads. well damn done. |
Alice's White Rabbit chapter 1 . 8/20/2012 This was wonderful! Great story idea. Seriously could have happened this way. And, until Alice came to get him, I was sure that Bella had died. So, glad that I was wrong. Thanks! Sally |
Nicia chapter 1 . 5/19/2012 WOW. Just wow. The style, the bluntness of this, it was breathtaking and so powerful. The way that drinking from her took over Edward and reverted him back to following his base desires, I love it. And thank goodness Emmett saved Bella. This was a great look at how things could have gone if Edward hadn't managed to salvage the self-restraint to stop drinking from Bella in the end! |
CrazySue05 chapter 1 . 4/25/2012 A long pull of nectar from its wrist – across my tongue and down, scents and tang slip down my throat to swirl and echo in my chest. -That's one of the most awesome lines I've ever read. Pretty much in love with your descriptiveness! 3 Zen Mar |
LyricalKris chapter 1 . 4/22/2012 Ah I usually dislike AU stories but this was pretty awesome. I love me some angst. I love the seperation between the monster and our Edward. Good dealio |
Noble Korhedron chapter 1 . 3/7/2012 Well, he can jump her bones without worrying about killing her at least! *evil grin* |
ladylibre chapter 1 . 1/27/2012 WOW! That was quite a scene! I loved how Edward didn't see Bella at all while he drained her, referring to her only as "it" as he drank. And the last line was perfect. Great story! |
AraT chapter 1 . 1/4/2012 Love it! |
pgrabinEdward chapter 1 . 11/4/2011 Wow! Wonderful! |
reve2weaver chapter 1 . 11/2/2011 I love it when a writer takes canon and makes the familiar, unfamiliar, and yet shows us something that we knew was there all along: "That piece had a father. Not me. Not for much longer." Chills. I read that, reached down and pulled on my seatbealt without me eyes leaving the screen. For the next route was quite the ride, and wasn't the scenery just breathtaking? "A part of me registers that the others of my kind, pseudo siblings, standing so much closer to the flame, would cringe away from it if not for the euphoria of their kill." Yeah... we're leaving Kansas on a tornado, folks. This writer is serving it up wicked witch-kill fresh: "The grand opening gala currently serving the best refreshments in recorded history." Yeah... like that. Or how about somma this? "I was on the cusp of a new existence. Incarnation number four.[...] Not ugly becomes beautiful. Spontaneous transformations." Oh, say like reading this EPOV os? I'll never watch him at her wrist the same way again. His soliloquy on pseudo-sex was the best: "Don't eat this. Don't touch that. Like smacking the back of a child's hand. Don't listen to the thoughts you don't really want to hear anyway. As if I could stop hearing. As if I didn't want to. As if I could stop drinking. As if I wanted to. She was put on this earth for me, and me alone, to drink. That is the fulfillment of her purpose. If I wasn't destined to drink from her, she wouldn't have been made so delicious." Yeah, that's the good stuff, served in a dirty glass, hits you right there, burns all the way down. The best part? The turn, like any well-crafted sonnet. He's at the end (four corners of the self meets cross roads) and with a neat rend to this tale, and Carlisle's caution to probably Emmett (redoubtably Emmett) who's about to remove this latest incarnation's rabid head with a writer's sly wink. Oh! I think. Wot's this? Wry humor? Oh this IS good. "She's reciting the lyrics to a pop song. She officially hates me." There is a death knell, but it's got a strange lilt a la Tim Burton, and ooo-OOOO, so damn fitting. Emmett you rapscallion; always getting in the last licks. |
Snikerdoodles chapter 1 . 10/12/2011 this was dark, edgy, amazing, and beautiful. I love the level of disconnect Edward experiences when he was drinking from Bella. He couldn't even identify with himself, he became a foriegn unrecognizable monster. He truly became a real vampire. The imagery was amazing, it played out like a movie in my head. I loved the ending, just overall a great one-shot :) |
Kats Flower Girls chapter 1 . 9/6/2011 LOL, there would be no Jacob or wolf pack or New Moon or Eclipse or Breaking Dawn, LOL! Yes, they would have saved a lot of trouble but where's the fun in that, LOL! I like that all the Cullens changed Bella & it was even better that Emmett started it... |
SharSharTorres chapter 1 . 7/28/2011 Yep I agree it would have save us 3 books and probably would have grace us with an actual consumation instead of a fade to black... Hahahhhahahah Great story! |
darkbutterfly2011 chapter 1 . 6/26/2011 i think you should do a couple more chapters but if not its ok i like it alot |
