Interesting view point. Shang sure was conflicted on how to handle this and is now pursuing his girl worth fighting for. He starts off being disgusted by the deception to appreciating her courage, wit, love, and more. At the end it should read/Shang be thinking what Mulan is really like. Ping was just a cover, an alias. He should've had more expression at his annoyance with Chi Fu's blinding sexism even though Mulan saved them all again.

By the way it was a falcon that Shan Yu has and short, strong soldier friend is named Yao not Yoa.
