I found it weird that you kept sliping into modern world and ninja world. I mean it at first sounded AU, like you mentioned at the end, and then it was almost Cannon(or however you spell it). It wasn't confusing or anything. Just weird in my opinion. I liked the story though and I enjoyed reading it.
