I'm in love with this story. It's funny that you wrote this in 2010 and in 2012 the real Criminal Minds did something kinda sorta similar but you did it so much better.

thn thn thn that was a great way to use a plot bunny and i didnt feed them just any brownies...lol...they were super chocolate fudge brownies topped with ice cream but real that was great

Nicely done, my friend. :) Just love Dave/Hotch and I really can imagine Hotch being nervous. A little trilogy isn't a bad idea though..? The date, the subsequent Rossi 'interrogation'? ;)

And here I was thinking that only the girl got nervous about first dates. Lol! I know it will never happen but they should try and fit a scene like this into next season although with Rossi setting Hotch up on a date. That would be hilarious.

I think I have told you before but you do a fantastic job of writing Hotch. As I was reading I could imagine his reactions as he was speaking. Especially how defensive he would get about his suits. "What's wrong with a suit? I'm comfortable in my suits." I also have to love Rossi's 'gift' to Hotch :p
