Never thought I'd be able to stomach a Bane "sexcapade" (okay, that was awful, I know), but this ficlet had me laughing quite a bit.

So many great moments! I could quote you forever, but these were some of my favorites:

"He'd been tempted, on hearing this, to speculate outloud that her uncharacteristic amicability was the result of her finally finding one with a vibrate setting, but had managed to restrain himself..."

"Oh sure, there was the homicidal mania and the general sense that she'd detach your sex organs from your body as soon as look at you..."

Really entertaining and wonderfully written. :D

I love you, really I do, you’re brilliant and gorgeous and I now have wonderfully explicit images of Bane in boots, hat, guns and smile. Okay, deep breaths. I’m better now.

This is the most realistic, arresting characterization of Bane I’ve ever read, seriously. It doesn’t match the one I had in my head but now I can’t get it out. Your quips about the tenuous mental stability of Aurra Sing are also fantastic. You’ve outlined the scenario wonderfully, I am now attributing these twos’ assessments of each other as you written into my ideas about them in the show. Really, really great writing.

Also, the line

“And that was how he, Cad Bane: Bounty Hunter Extraordinaire, had ended up in bed with a sometimes colleague, sometimes rival, whose grasp on sanity was about as tenuous as Senator Expen Dee Bell's claims that he'd genuinely thought that that house of pleasure he'd been secretly filmed in was a local chapter of 'The Campaign For the Furtherance of Moral Decency in the Republic.”
