MoonlightMystery13.3 chapter 1 . 10/11/2018 This is absolutely amazing. I've never had much patience with the oblivious parents of characters, but as a writer, I understand it's hard to strike a balance between young heroes and rightfully protectve parents. I can't say I've ever really considered Helen's reaction to the changes in her children, and this piece explored it excellently. Bravo! |
StarlingChild4 chapter 1 . 7/29/2018 I love this. Though, you would think, after overhearing her children talk of battles and specific events, their mother would have plopped them all down and demanded a detailed account of what really happened at the Professor's... then again, it would be hard to believe, regardless. I like to think that they tell her truth someday. For now, this is a lovely, bittersweet family fic. |
tonkshamsandwich chapter 1 . 2/22/2018 This is one of my favourite Narnia stories, I've read it like five times, I love it so much I love how you write Helen's POV, and how you write her struggling to understand her children. It's really well written |
DarkPhoenix101 chapter 1 . 6/17/2017 I enjoyed the story. Nicely done. But I do have one criticism. Peter and Edmund have their swords and Susan her bow but what does Lucy have? |
Guest chapter 1 . 1/23/2017 this was adorable and thank you |
Alicia Olivia Mirza chapter 1 . 10/10/2016 Hey! Oh, I loved it! I always wondered how they behaved between the books at home and whatever their mother noticed... :) Amazing! Alicia :) |
stars4redvines chapter 1 . 3/15/2014 I love this story and how you approached writing it and the characters. It is so wonderfully written with the Pevensies interacting with one another... I'm sorry but I don't think I have the words to give this story justice. I truly love this story and enjoyed reading it. |
FandomFairy01 chapter 1 . 1/29/2014 Aw that's sweet :) |
Cynder2013 chapter 1 . 7/30/2013 Awwwwwwww... |
Lopmon-013 chapter 1 . 6/27/2013 Perfect ! |
TheOtherMaidOfTarth chapter 1 . 7/21/2012 Loved it, especially the part where Lucy was upset about the trees and her height. That really showed how eccentric they would seem to others. Caught one mistake tho: "it's a good think that I am an excellent swordsman, then, isn't it?" that should be 'thing'. |
Lightose8860 chapter 1 . 3/26/2012 this is amazeing and its not ooc! thank you! |
WillowDryad chapter 1 . 11/14/2011 I enjoyed that very much. |
sarlovesoccer chapter 1 . 7/15/2011 Wonderful! |
Talagan chapter 1 . 6/28/2011 What a beautiful story! I loved it. :) Being through everything that they went through in Narnia, they would certainly have changed a lot from what their mother would have known and this take on how that scenario played out was done wonderfully! This line, "and he and Peter had suddenly become inseparable." had me thinking, 'Well, actually not *suddenly* at all...' lol And this part, ""Yes," Susan agreed. "After all, there are four empty chairs at Cair Paravel waiting for our return."" I found to be terribly bittersweet, considering how later on in the series she will purposefully forget all about Narnia. My only critique would be the use of "alright", which should technically be "all right." However, aside from that, I enjoyed this story very much! Thank you very much for sharing it and I look forward to reading more stories by you! |
