Nice, But you not signifying who is speaking the dialogue gets very confusing. At least establish a pattern of speaking or actions that lead up to the person speaking so that it is clear to the reader what's going on and he doesn't have to go through a dialogue 3 times to figure out who is saying what.

The only thing bugging me is that for me, Dean wouldn't be so traumatized by the almost rape as you are making him to be. Embarrassed, sure; traumatized, no.

I do wish you had chosen any other character besides Sasuke though. Ah, well, can't have everything.

The vagueness of it all, well, I can definitely understand that. And appreciate it. Considering everything, this was great. Also, just Dean... I wonder what Sam would think about about this whole... thing. If he ever came to know about it, that is.

But like, did you just imply that Sam and Naru/Jess... well, had sex? I did not need to know that.

Also, I wanted to say that it's pretty obvious that Naruto impersonated Jess to keep tabs on Sam. THE DYING WAS DEF NOT INVOLVED. Nor was encountering the demon. Why is everyone so hung up on the seemingly non-existent conspiracy that it was all, killing Jess and everything, for getting the brothers together? Like, could you not. It's so fucking obvious. Though, admittedly, I am indeed curious about the pretend relationship between Naru-Jess and Sam. How much was it just pretend?

I did think it was weird that Naruto would be targeted. But he wasn't, was he? It was Jess. Oh my god, this is so messed up. I love it! You're one amazing (coughandfuckedupcough) bastard.

I cannot believe there aren't that many fics in this crossover archive! This story started off nicely, I love that it was Sasuke and Naruto who rescued Dean! :D

I'm glad to have found this fic. It was an enjoyable story, for the most part believable, good with characterization, and explored aspects of being a ninja that is frankly very obvious but is usually ignored by canon.

Congrats, by the way, for completing a story. It's harder to do when said story's a one-shot, so kudos to you.

As for the ending, it's sad, and I don't like it *because* it's sad, but I also think it's a good ending. With things the way they were, with Naruto being a loyal ninja, with Sasuke as obsessed as he was about revenge and power, there really was no way to end it on a happier note. It was actually quite brave of you to not force a happy ending. It all felt very natural this way.

Also, favorite part: when Dean sarcastically says that they were ninja. That will never not crack me up.

This was sad. This was *beautifully* sad. I can't even.

Most of the time in crossovers, you see them staying in that new world, but this? This is realer. This is more believable, as sad as it may be. Given the circumstances, it's actually a better ending.

Still sad, though.

This was a fun read, partially because I like outsider POV and partially because Sam's confusion was fun. It was amusing to see him all baffled by the ninja things that we as the audience already know about, or at least are vaguely aware of given that this is fifteen chapters in and it's a Naruto/Supernatural crossover. Dramatic irony and all that.

Yes, happy Naruto after killing someone is creepy. Creepier than Sasuke killing, I'd say, because someone being emotionless about murder ranks lower than someone smiling after it. And not an insane smile, but a happy/cheerful one.

If it's any consolation, the Fourth Hokage's signature jutsu used a seal that might as well have ripped a hole in time and space, so the idea that a seal can bring them to another world is plausible. And considering Naruto's lineage, it makes sense that he'd have a knack for seals, too. Just saying.

It's also a very convenient plot device for crossovers, not gonna lie.

This is a more serious Naruto than the Naruto in canon, and I like it. He seems realer this way, preferring to deal with his own brand of psychotic, sadistic killers whose crazy reasons make sense to him, rather than the psychotic sadistic killers of this world whose reasons basically boils down to: all monsters deserve to die, especially if they're a threat to the human race. Possibly has more than a few screws loose, but still realer.

And now there's going to be a goodbye. It's going to be sad, isn't it? Goodbyes usually are. Sigh.

I always wondered how Dean managed to get so far and knock the door so strongly when he's dying. Makes sense.

The best part of this is that neither Naruto nor Sasuke try to help. Dean's dying, and there's nothing they can do. They've accepted that, even if Naruto tells Dena to try whatever Sam tells him to. Just in case. But there's no desperation, no fruitless attempt to help. Death's a part of their life, and I think it shows here.

Of course Dean tells them he's dying via text message. Of course he does. And of course Naruto comes in through the window. What is this door you speak of?
