I don't know how I ended up looking up this story, but I remembered your name back when I used to read JatD fanfics, and I remembered that I loved your writing. And I was definitely not disappointed with this one. It was wonderfully written, and also succinctly put. I'm surprised you were able to cover The Two Towers and Return of the King with less than 100,000 words! I know we skipped Frodo and Sam, but still! I also liked your battle sequences, I think you did a spectacular job! What I really loved and also saw was the parallels with Zuko, Aragorn, Eomer, and Faramir. I didn't notice it at all until you pointed it out! Simply amazing. I also loved how we saw great character development for Zuko, how he was able to become a better person through the actions and words of others, that he used the honorable LotRs characters as role models of what a good person is. Very well done. I also loved the subtle love between Zuko and Katara, it wasn't a crazy, burning passion, but soft and gentle devotion. Very lovely. Anyways, thanks for writing, I really enjoyed reading it! :)

Hahaha I was thinking that the portal heists the crazy duo into the world of Harry Potter and they have to get help from dumbeldoor and off to another wack adventure.. Of corse this fic rocks! So what about another one?!

I read this in one shot. I was a bit skeptical at first, but found that was unnecessary. I actually am rather fond of this one. I had been hoping for a little more about when they got back and a few more tidbits about our lover pair getting closer, but otherwise I didn't really have any issues with it.

Nice story and two opposites growing strong as friends

I loved this, there were so many great moments! I still would have liked more dialogue, but the final product is still amazing, and you did a stupendous job.

The parts that really got me pumped were the battle scenes. The whole thing was fantastic but the BATTLE SCENES. Take into account that this is coming from a person who sucks at writing battle scenes as well as reading them, especially where fanfiction is concerned. But THESE. EPIC. Especially the Battle of Helm's Deep and the Zuko at Gondor battles. I'm kinda sad we missed Katara taking down the ships.

And when you DID write dialogue, especially the Zutara moments, if was brilliant. Zuko and Katara tended to speak in such patterns that I normally associate with LOTR characters? Like it was a little off for them? But it wasn't too noticeable, I'm just nitpicking now. On this subject, the LOTR canon dialogue and noncanonical dialogue was flawless, especially Gandalf.

All in all, fantastic!

I love what you've done with this setup– I did not think it would work, but you did amazingly. My only nitpick would be that you tend to tell rather than show– for example, in this chapter you told us that Zuko and Katara were learning to trust eachother, but I would rather have seen some of their journey, or some conversations. I understand that that would be more writing, and I don't ask you to redo this, it is still good. Just to have that in mind. I really like what you've done with this!

A beautiful combination of the two very things I love most! Admittedly, I was a bit skeptical when I first read the summary, however after reading the prologue, I think the two worlds will merge awesomely. I can't wait to read more!
