I like how you explained why Kanae would be flippant about friendships. Nakamura-sensei didn't even delve into it, but if Kanae had real friends beside the LoveMe group we would have seen them by now. Obviously, her family issues are serious, as they limit the work she can do, but her friend trauma matters, end of this chapter was SO amusing. Even more so, with the way Peach and Corn interacted in the previous chapter.
I can totally relate to your author's note. Sometimes, writing is SUPER frustrating, but publishing a new chapter is it's own reward. Thank you for pushing through the hard part.

The whole world knows but Kyoko does not know the news about Ren till now.

I think it is entirely for the plot that Ren is trying to win her over, but he knows kyoko isn't ready for a relationship and Ren won't do this for some bet and to save his own skin. Doesn't it makes his character ooc?
And it also makes him a bad guy to have accepted such a bet even if it is for Kyoko apparently. He is much of a smart guy to know that it won't benefit her in the long run.

Lol, the ending. Well that's plausible or he could fly back to america as kuon
