I just watched this episode for the first time and went looking for fics and this is awesome :) I think you really kept them in character and I can't wait to keep catching up and watch them more!

Now that u say I find u are rite. Love is if anything complicated and even I didn't expect them to have a fairytale ending. Although massively disspointed, so much that I was literally screaming at the TV. If everything in life were that simple it wouldn't be worth having. The sweetest things in life are also the most costly. U just gave me a whole new perspective on the ep. So Thanks a bunch. Although I totally love ur version of the story. If they had just ended the episode at this and after it could be like they are not in a relationship but are taking it slowly and one step at a time i think a lot more people would be happy.

I agree with your statement at the end; the episode was very good, and I can't understand why some people would stop watching. I know love does exist but I also know it's not perfect and, as you said, it would've been dumb if everything were perfect after one episode. Anyways, great story, very in character. :)

I totally loved the ep. While it's frustrating that they can't just jump right in, I thought it was very true to the characters. And being believable is what makes it great. It's not supposed to be easy. If it were what would be the point? Even if for right now they're not ready, it just means that they're (or she's) not ready right now. It will just take some more time. But at least they're making progress. It's obvious that they're making progress. So I see hope in the future and loved the ep a lot for being true to the characters.

I totally agree with you about the 100th episode. I am worried after viewing a post 100th interview with David and Emily on Youtube. They talk about them never getting together as a couple to keep from ruining the show. I don't think it would ruin it. With the dynamics of these two characters, they could do so much as a couple. Enjoyed your story very much. Thanks for writing. Keep more coming.

First off, let me say that I totally agree with you about the 100th episode. I can't believe some people are so mad about it that they'd stop watching the show. I mean, surely B&B will get together eventually, and what, we're supposed to just throw Brennan's character out the window and have her instantly push away her fears and go for it? Where would that leave the rest of the show?

Anyway, I really thought you pulled this story off very well. I always love it when someone puts on paper what I feel about B&B. I think you had their characters down perfectly, and I like the reluctance in Brennan- she doesn't just agree to try, she needs convincing and encouragement first, and Booth is definitely willing to give her that. Thanks so much for an amazing story!

very nicely done. you totally got the characters, so bravo! i agree completely that - although my instant reaction to brennan's rejection was similar to booth's plus perhaps a "wtf hart hanson?" or two - one perfect little episode would in no way do justice to the complex and beautiful romance that booth and brennan share, nor would it be realistic to their characters.

She loved Booth, she cared about him, she appreciated him, and she respected him.

Nice one shot. I thought you did well keeping Booth and Brennan in character. I mostly wanted to say that I also loved the 100th episode. I thought it was both beautiful and tragic, and I think it opened the door for them. Obviously, it's going to be awkward and painful, but I think we're getting close. It was one of my all-time favorite episodes and I loved the concept of them meeting before the first episode. It makes me want to go back and watch some of those big interactions again throughout the season, like when he "dies" for example. Loved it! Haha. Thanks for sharing this story!

There is just so much to say about that last scene, and so many ways to say it. I'm currently plotting an analysis from Booth about how Bones is wrong, what she's said that night. Because over the time that they've been together, we've seen her change and we know that she has slowly been opening herself up, especially to him. I'm trying to flesh that out, because I think if she says these changes, that will be the thing that finally gets them together. What do you think?

awesome story! i could totally see that happening. && I loved the 100th ep too. I thought they did an amazing job writing it and staying true to the characters. The final scene was just as I imagined it would be. (of course without the rejection) but, hey... I knew they weren't going to get together so the way they wrote it was perfect. They gave us something big which I think at this point they needed to do, but they didnt give us everything which makes me wanna watch more and more! )

I agree with you! The episode was actually great, I've never laughed (or cried, I have to admit) so much. It was very Bones-like, it would have been cliché if they actually got together in one episode.. Even though I'm a huge B&B fan, this episode was perfect!

..But I would like to have your ending as the season finale ;)
