Okay, I just read the entire story and... Damn xD
When I first started it, I couldn't stop! I wanted to read it all in one sitting, but I fell asleep xD so I continued today... And... It was very... Strange. The idea of Sayu being attracted to Mello because of the Stockholm Syndrom would make sense, however, the fact that he raped her... I'd imagine her completely frightened by his closeness after that. And it felt kinda forced from her side... So that was a bit weird to me. Especially since she discovered that he was responsible for her father's death...
But it made more sense from Mello's point of view, at least it felt like it...
I noticed that your style changed a bit by the final chapters, but it didn't distract from reading.
One thing that I really loved now, was how you described Sayu's depression and paralysis. That was really well done and it sounded very real. The scene where she wants to hold the baby after the childbirth, but can't because she's paralyzed is so sad and her recovery was nicely paced too. Not to abrupt, but the idea that her child was the motivation for it and helped her was real good.

Also, what attracted me in the first place, was the fact that the title of the story and the names of the chapters are in German, as a reference to Mello's background it's... Original. And I liked it.

And finally (damn, this is a long review xD), the rating of this fanfic bugged me a bit. Since I intended to read this as a bedtime story, I looked for K-T ratings, to lull me to sleep. I knew that this story would be slightly messed up, because it features kidnapping and being held by the mafia, and I don't dislike stories that are sad or disturbing in general. But the amount of actual images of rape, torture and hunger... Even if they aren't very graphic, they were strong. And that's something that I'd expect from an M-rated story. So I was quite shocked and slightly disturbed to find it in a T-rated story...
