I just read this for the 3rd time i think. i think this is one of my favorite slow burn fic out there

i seriously don't understand why this doesn't receive thousands of likes

at first i don't really get why rima needed to be so petty yet quite talkative but then again i remembered that this is an AU where she never received the closure/compensation for her parental issue in childhood, dragged onto teenage years, yea it makes so much sense lol. but nonetheless i always love the way you elaborated how she feels, and her banter exchanges with nagihiko, it's memorable and cute

dude i really like this bit right here, nagihiko and rima's convo is so real. i love it. i hope you don't quit writing, like not specifically this one cause it's a decade old and maybe you've lost interest lol. but like i hope you kept writing in general, I'd love to read more. but this meant no way making you not continue this fanfic a lot of us would be so happy! I'm just saying no pressure even if you lost interest, it's fine but i just really hope you're still writing today have a nice day

Such a rich read this is. So glad to have found it. I absolutely love how detailed and expressive Rima is in her narration thus far, and how the dialogue and interactions between the cast is so involving. I love it. I'll have more to say in the upcoming days after I read more, but for now I'll say, excellent start.

...so I've been reading this story for a super long time now, and for some reason never reviewed (I'm sorry I'm the worst). But seeing my ship ~finally~ get together is definitely worth me starting to review this story, so here we are.

This is definitely one of, if not the best, stories in this fandom. It's by far the best currently in that it's one of like two actually being updated (I miss the good-ol days of activity here). Thank you for continuously updating and thank you for quality fanfiction. I definitely want to go back and reread for hints as its been several years now (I did remember the marriage proposal thing though!). Keep up the great work!

Um wow! First of all, I don’t know why I haven’t read this before considering it was published in 2010? And now I’m asking myself what rock I’ve been living under all this time because I can’t believe I’ve been missing out for /nine years/.

I devoured this fic in a day. I’m in love with historical AUs and I think I just found my favourite! Plus your writing style is to die for! The developing relationship between our favs Rima and Nagihiko is so well-paced and gradual so as to be realistic, but also I love that even minor characters have been given some sort of background and a backstory beyond just attending the school, like Yaya with her family overseas or Utau’s struggles with the family business etc. It just really gives each of them depth and makes me hooked on each of them!

Basically this fic has satisfied my ever-constant need for historical AUs of which there are disappointingly few in this fandom, so thank you for writing this so, so much! I haven’t been so absorbed in a fanfic for months and at this point I feel like I’m basically invested in these characters all over again. I look forward to reading more from you!
