Axl x Pallete, X/Alia, Zero x Layer. Yeah, sorry. XD

Poor Cinnamon, but there's is something funny about her stalking them, all red faced! And you're right, not much AxlPallette as there's AxlCinnamon. I prefer platonic really, bc they're kids so its kinda cute. I wish there was a story with all three of them being friends, or at least Pallette and Cinnamon being friends. (There isn't...)

I think the reasons for there being more AxlCinnamon is Cinnamon appeared first (command mission came out first) and she was the first girl "kid reploid", like Axl who is also a kid reploid. She's sweet and cute and curious about everything and she is a special built reploid. Pallette came after but people didn't like Pallette bc she was "too loud and annoying" (what I've gathered from others) and there's the whole hunterXnavigator pair up thing Capcom was going for (which I don't particularly care for myself for a list of reasons ; ).
Neither girl has really had any interaction with Axl (Pallette just tells him/You the player hints and advice bc it's her job). It's said that Marino talked to Axl once or twice and Cinnamon tells X/You the player that she talked to Zero twice. Pallette talks to Zero in cutscene but not X or Axl- her supposedly assigned hunter.

Zero seems to be dense when it comes to females being in love with him and it's like a running gag. The only reason he "gets the girls" is bc he's the Pretty Boy (and Inafune's waifu). As a kid I tbought him and Iris were together but after playing X4 again at 22, I think that her feelings towards him were unrequited and died with her (which is sad). But people seem to forget that she was completely okay with genocide so she could live in her fantasyland with him, and her and her brother attacked Zero when he didn't want to fight either of his "friends". He could kill Iris and Colonel (and feel remorse and sorrow and overall confusion over his morals) but even as a maverick, couldn't kill X.
Same for Layer, who has the most obvious crush on him, red face and stammering like Hinata Hyuga, but he doesn't even see it.(and why did Capcom bother with that lil tidbit?) Same with Ciel but Zero is more detached, cold, and blunt (and he's kinda rude to her like every time she has something to say that's about him)... plus she's like 14 year old human.
X6 doesn't exist to a lot of fans bc it's not great (kind of a clusterfuck) and they made Alia more important to the story for idk why. Plus I believe she was talking about Gate in the second optional ending (non-canon) who she showed some feelings towards in the game. Alia never showed interest in X or anyone. She's very professional and is devoted solely to her work. She doesn't really have emotions or a rounded personality. (They tried to force one in X6 and her backstory is rushed) X cares about others but the two most important to him are Zero and Axl (to a slightly lesser extent). He doesn't seem to even think about relationships with others bc he can't trust them eventually.

This was veru cute. And I too take a firm stance against Zero/Layer and Zero/Ciel. Personally I think that Iris shouldn't have died in the first place. And I also think that X/Alia and I'm not all that sure if Axl and Cinnamon even actually met...

Very nice piece. I use to think that Pallate and Axl should be an item, but I quickly disregard it when I realized I don't really care who Axl dates. I mean Pallate and Cinnamon both have their ups and downs. So now, I really don't care any more. As long as it's written well, I'll read it. Now, I'm strictly Alia/X,Iris/Zero, and one side Layer-Zero, Ciel-Zero and Nana-X. But I'll read it if it's really well written.

Seems like there's not enough information here. I'd like to see this extended more. Pretty good.

I dunno, I think you should go for more layer/Zero. At least have them talking. It would be a really interesting story, even if Zero rejects her in the end.
