This was absolutely amazing! Especially chapter 1! Absolutely heart-felt, wonderful character development and excellent plot line! Loved it!

A FUCKING PLUS this fanfic was magnificent

Can I also just say that the character development in your story is absolutely superb? I love how you write Helga and Arnold as real people with imperfections. I love that Helga doesn't grow up to become a feminine bombshell like in most stories, and that she has scars, a slight overbite and is flawed. And I love how Arnold thinks that her flaws are beautiful, that she is beautiful. I love how you write Arnold - everything is just perfect. :') The love story between Helga and Arnold is realistic and imperfect and yet perfect in their undying love for one another. So beautiful. This story is really powerful.

"I can see the intimidation in people's faces as she talks to them. Even when Helga is in a good mood they are cautious. They see this Rottweiler, a scrawny but muscular alley cat of a human being and they know she's a scrapper. She's a fighter. She'd claw them to pieces if they got too close and then got on her bad side."

Wow. This story is so raw, heart-wrenching, haunting and beautiful. I think this is the most haunting and passionate ArnoldxHelga story I've come across so far. I've noticed that in most fanfiction, Helga becomes better as highschool comes around and this is the first I've read where Helga gets worse and puts up more walls around herself as she gets older. The way the whole story is written through Arnold's POV just makes everything all the more heart-wrenching. Beautiful. I really love how Arnold comes to fall in love with Helga in your story. Although there were some wrong spellings and missing words, I think you write so beautifully. I'm definitely looking forward to your future works. :)

i usually don't go for the after their married fics but your's is so deliciously real it's too good to pass up. Because if this is fluff it's the kind your grandma makes by hand whipping cream and eggs for an hour so it will become the yummy fluff after all that work. Your helga is just so darn the same you don't try and make her beautiful that's done simply through the fact that arnold loves her. Like in real life like real love. I'd read this if you decided to turn it into a feature length for sure!

If only it were that simple to get over the shock of an unexpected death. For most, it will take a significant length of time but there are others who never get over it. I know what the heartfelt point you're making through his chapter but unfortunately my above statement is a cold hard fact. Great writing though.
