Wow, I believe you conveyed the innocence of their relationship perfectly. I really like how you gradually developed the trust that Gaara held towards Naruto, and Naruto's gentleness and understanding towards Gaara. It was very sweet and fluffy, and I really enjoyed reading it.

I'm in love with this fic. There is so much meaning, I loved how you wrote naruto's struggles and efforts to getting gaara to trust him. It shows that trust isn't easy to obtain and that it shouldn't be rushed. I also like I can know how gaara is thinking from his actions but not from his thoughts. Naruto was so caring and loving that it made me smile. I love this couple and I think you convey them so well! This fic was beautifully written.

:) Hello again. It's funny; you being touched touched me, so now I'm going back through all the fics of yours I have read. I am so glad you write Naruto x Gaara, because they are my favorite pairing in Naruto and not a whole lot of people write them, and of those who do there are few who are really really good.

I really enjoy this fic, for lots of reasons. The first is that it's about touch, specifically massage, and I really appreciate how you point out that any form of touch requires a level of trust, and that is triply so for Gaara. I also like how the build up of trust is not rushed, even though this isn't a long fic. You convey the passage of time well, and little details about how Naruto got so far really emphasize how this took a lot of time and effort.

As far as the innocence goes, you hit it spot on. After the interlude with Kankuro, I had the impression of "babes in the wood," in that they have this... atmosphere about them that makes me see them as isolated but isolated together. Even toward the end, with Naruto kissing Gaara, it's an innocent action. On the one hand it's really sweet, and on another it opens the idea of why they are so innocent; they've never had anyone to be intimate with, or to show them what intimate means, so they just do what is natural. That is heartbreaking, and you didn't even have to make it that obvious.

I love how you write Naruto: caring, determined, a little bumbling, and not an idiot. And Gaara's facial expressions were priceless. I also like how even though this seems to be kind of from Naruto's perspective, you include Gaara's actions if not his direct thoughts.

The last conversation about feeling how the other feels gold.

This is a beautiful piece, and I think it is the epitome of why this is such a lovely pairing. You hit them spot on.
