Can’t believe this story is 10 years old. It’s been nearly a decade since I first read this. That’s just crazy. And the fic aged so well :)) I still reread it once in a while to revisit these versions of Kaito and Hakuba that I love so much.

We actually need a sequel in between glass eyes. Like NEED.

I havent commented on any other of you works but i am not only a fan of kid but - as cheesy as it sounds- i am number one fan of yours. I have read every story of yours in relation to the detective conan universe and love everyone of your works. This one especially. I hope you read this and are not inactive and dont get the chance cause i would 100% pay to read this shit! I worship how you can perfectly write what i want to read. All hail lostinthedreams!

My name is Aky and I don't speak English very well, I apologize in advance. I'm not sure you'll read this review, it's been years since you published the story ... but despite his age, I found it wonderful!
I liked all the characters, very well characterized. My favorite character is Kaito and I loved his relationship with Hakuba and the other detectives. I thought of a long point that you would have killed him, and I'm happy to have seen Kaito so happy in the last chapter. Drunk Kuroba is a public danger! xD
Another character that I greatly appreciated is Ai, wary but not too much towards the magician. The trick of the box and the heart was really sweet.
I read all the chapters one after the other and I was sorry to come to the end...
Congratulations for the beautiful story you wrote, you have aroused so many emotions in me: the evolution of the friendship between Kaito and Saguru was perfect (especially on trust), from the mistrust during the theft together (exhilarating), the help of Shinici and Heiji with the gag comic when they discovered his identity (he really only knows detective), the relationship between Kaito and inspector Nakamori (he loves him as if he were his son, sweet) and between Kid and Nakamori (I smiled and noticed his rejection of a possible "Kid killer" and it really scared me to dive down from the building), and little Hisa who was able to see people's auras and white was perfect for Kaito, he is a hidden angel. Compared to the year of your story, the manga has gone ahead and I am more and more convinced that Kaito's biggest flaw is "the sweet heart". I love his character for this very reason, behind the arrogance of the thief and his desire to show off, there is a clever magician who cannot be known in the sunlight until Pandora is found ... and yet think about helping others.
Thank you for what you have created, I am happy to have found it around on fandom.

I really love this story, but I noticed that many words in this chapter is mixed together, there see no spaces between theme. Just saying! I don't remember them being there the first time I read this.
