You did such a nice job on this! Deathshipping strikes me as one of the more difficult couples to write. Therefore,I am quite impressed at how unbelievably natural you make it seem. Weaving in the little convo between Ryou and Malik - genius, you! It just makes the whole thing 'pop', if that makes sense. It adds that 'more often than not neglected' element of realism.
