I'm not really complaining but i want to point out that it was kind of hard to read...you might want to try and work on spacing the stuff outmore...like different characters talking starts a new line...Helps not hurt the eyes...good start though

nice beginning! i like that johns new no-nonsense attitude, though i hope he still has his softer/caring side hidden somewhere - turning him into a second hb would be boring. same goes for making him too strong, hb has already dibs on being the muscle of the team...kudos for the side-comment about manning being on constant pms, that definitely explains his temper!LOLOL a slight minus for copying the 'co-workers are tastier than pedestrians'- phrase from 'somewhere between' and for john not only being able to smell that liz hid a rose but even its colorthat it had a ribbon tied around - how should he be able to smell that? now, im curios for the second chapter, to see john fighting how things with red progress
