hey to be frank I am not a fan of colin (in fact I wanted to smack him all the time for being girly)but this fic was a beutiful work,yes not awesome or any other word,beutiful is the one that suits it better.

I was expecting to see ilia too,but now that I think so it's better like this since it would be hard for link and this fic was about colin not her (that and...I truly deslike her)

anyway though I'm not and I won't be a fan of colin I think I like him a little better after reading this (:

Beautiful. Beautiful. Beautiful. This piece expresses so much emotion, meaning, and just a much soul as Colin’s paintings. As an aspiring artist myself this story almost calls to me, begging me to run to my easel and paint. I have never seen a piece so driving. Lovely. I look forward to more enchanting pieces from you such as this one.

Funny, reading your authors notes, we have so much in common I almost would have though you were me if I didn’t know better. I too work in acrylics, though I prefer Watercolor, and work as a ranch hand, mucking stables and the like. Perhaps this is why your work appeals to me so. I would love to see your paintings as well.

Another thing I have noticed is that you capture the time period of Hyrule very well. Being set relatively in the renaissance, the fact that Colin’s paintings, which stray for traditional works, are not very accepted is actually a very historical occurrence for this time. I love the use of art history in the piece.

P.S. I'll run by your page and check out your other pieces. If they are even half as good as this one I'm sure they'll be wounderful.

Great portrayl of the characters.

I really need to figure out how to say what makes this story great without being repetitive of past reviews. I don't think you could do a bad Zelda story if you tried. But what catches my eye especially is the use of the phrase "Twilight Crisis". I'm trying my damnedest not to be haughty and think you used it as a Shout Out to my story, but then again maybe you just liked it and used it. Outta simple curiosity, are either correct guesses?

Wow... I'm speechless... This was a gem in a sea of rocks. I've missed a few updates on other stories, but this by far one of your best! (The funny thing is, I suck at art! XD)The ending was perfect, & I hope that Colin did become an artist now!

I did notice one tiny, tiny error. (Really easy to fix.)

You just need to change the semi-colon to an apostrophe, just thought this needed to be pointed out to you.

I really like this story. Being an artist fits Colin, I think. Or at least it fits the fantastic Colin you've written. All of your characters were very well done, especially Link. The pacing was also very good in this.
