i really liked this story. it's so interesting to see the way Nina thinks, to see her background story... i think it totally fits her, great work!(:
Lara Cox chapter 3 . 2/18/2010
This is very interesting. I really like the general concept of exploring Nina's mind during her birtdays. Good job! I hope you keep writting!

Beautiful semi-angst here.

Yes, I have no doubt if Jack had known about Teri, she would be dead, but think of the storylines we would have been deprived of.

And typical Nina, still planning, still plotting. Love the slight scorn with observations of Jack and Tony's visits.

Not to mention the imaginary execution, that sent shivers down my spine.

Yeah, the 9/11 shit is scary stuff. No one wasn't affected though.

OutCold chapter 2 . 2/17/2010
Ahh, the desire to confess to Jack - now that would have been interesting. I do love how she has these deep thoughts about it, then just kind of shrugs it off and talks about her couch and wine.

And then the musings on what Jack and Tony will be doing, probably incredibly accurate.

Of course the nostalgia looking back on the childhood, I suppose it comes to us all, even Nina Myers. And the worry for the future, no wonder.

OutCold chapter 1 . 2/17/2010
Wow, for a start I love this idea, and I look forward to reading more of it.

You get Nina's 'voice' so well, it's amazing. The kind of regret, but always with that slight mocking tone. The "so I wasn't destined to be a serial killer" bit was just fantastic. :P

And the term you use at the end "put me down" is very interesting, so close to "put me out of my misery".

D Yeah, this is fantastic, nice to get a look at Nina's parents too.
